The private swimming pool that sits in the centre of the exterior is truly exquisite, allowing guests to take a dip in the cool water after a long day of sightseeing. Opposite the pool is a quaint and expertly manicured lawn area, making it the ideal space for playing games and sunbathing on the soft grass. Travelling up the grandiose stone steps, you will discover a unique outdoor dining and seating area. As such, guests can indulge in an assortment of delectable meals whilst gazing out at the seafront views that sit below.
 
The interior of this property embodies a characteristic and contemporary style, placing the main living areas in an open-plan space. The living/dining area is complete with bright white walls and dark wooden flooring, exuding a simplistic yet attractive design. The living area contains a comfortable brown sofa as well as a large flatscreen TV. Thus, guests can use this space for unwinding or for amazing family movie nights. The dining area contains a circular glass table and a set of white chairs, building a nuanced and open space for guests to make good use of. The kitchen contains a pair of spacious islands as well as a host of amenities. As a result, guests can prepare and serve a wide variety of dishes in a sleek and fully functional space.
 
Puerto Mar is also home to three stunning bedrooms, each offering guests an abundance of space and privacy. The first bedroom contains a pair of single beds, which is ideal for two small children or for a couple who prefers to sleep separately. This room also provides an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom follows the same layout and also provides access to an opulent en-suite bathroom. Finally, the third bedroom includes a spacious queen-sized bed as well as an additional sofa bed. Plus, this room also has an adjoining en-suite bathroom, adding to the pure luxury of the entire property.

Port de Pollensa is an idyllic location that is filled with intriguing tourist attractions and destinations. As this region is surrounded by striking beaches, it is a perfect place to embark on various kitesurfing activities. Established institutions such as Mallorca Kiteboarding offer a diverse range of kitesurfing lessons and equipment, helping guests take part in this exhilarating sport. This school offers a Fast Track Beginner Course, allowing guests to learn the basic principles of kitesurfing in a fast and simple fashion. Each guest will receive all of the essential equipment as well as an in-depth safety briefing to ensure that safety and confidence are placed at the forefront of every lesson. This course costs €270 and lasts for six hours spread across 2-3 days. Mallorca Kiteboarding can be found at the Port Blue Resort and Spa, which is less than 10-minutes away from the centre of Port de Pollensa.
 
If you are looking to try out a new sport at a much slower pace, Golf Pollensa offers an 18-hole course that is encircled by awe-inspiring views. This expansive course was first established in 1986 but was renovated in 2000 by acclaimed architect Michael Pinner. Alongside the beautiful course, Golf Pollensa also allows access to a driving range to help guests refine their skills before stepping out onto the grounds. This institution also only uses purified water in its lakes in accordance with the enforced laws of the Balearic Islands. Golf Pollensa offers an 18-hole game for around €65 and can be found less than 15-minutes away from Port de Pollensa.
 
This region is also well recognised for its diverse and nuanced food scene, hosting restaurants such as Tolo’s, which is located just under 5-minutes away. This popular restaurant has produced a unique menu, offering dishes such as authentic paella and a gourmet hamburger with scamorza cheese. Luckily for British tourists, Tolo’s also offers a large English breakfast complete with Heinz beans and grilled tomatoes. This restaurant is also praised for its friendly atmosphere and spacious outdoor seating area. Tolo’s provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner options and is open from 8 am till 11 pm every day.

Port de Pollensa is a perfect destination for families as this region includes a large number of attractions that the whole family can enjoy. Formentor beach can be found 20-minutes away from Port de Pollensa, making it an accessible attraction for guests residing in Puerto Mar. This sensational beach is nearly 1km long and is lined with soft golden sand that effortlessly complements the crystal clear water. The water is quite shallow throughout the year, making it safe for children to swim in. Formentor beach is also home to two unique restaurants, each one serving a selection of snacks and refreshments for guests to enjoy. It should also be noted that the beach also includes a fairly spacious car park that costs around €7-€10 per car, depending on the season.
 
If you are visiting Port de Pollensa in February, you will be able to observe the vibrancy of the Mallorca Carnival. This energetic event occurs on the last few days of Lent, a time when Christians are encouraged to delve into fun activities to thank them for their sacrifices during their fast. The Carnival welcomes a series of games, decorative floats, and dances, allowing tourists to catch an exclusive glimpse of the customs of this immersive culture. These festivities take place across Mallorca, with a family-friendly event occurring on Saturday and a more adult event occurring on Sunday.
 
Just under an hour away from Port de Pollensa is Capdepera Castle, an outstanding landmark that should not be missed. This wondrous castle dates back to 1300 and is placed on the top of a very large hill. As such, this is a great place to visit if you are looking to gain some panoramic views of the amazing Mallorcan landscapes. In fact, Capdepera Castle was one of the first buildings in the area and helped to establish a small community within the local village that sits below. Nowadays, the castle welcomes a plethora of tourists and even holds a medieval market at select points of the year. Tickets for this attraction are extremely affordable, costing just €3 per guest.
