Pool Villa/House Modern Beach Nearby Ideal for Kids All Bedrooms En-Suite

Nestled in a quiet and leafy residential area in the heart of the Mallorcan countryside, near the ancient town of Pollensa, stands Villa Luziana, a stunning, contemporary-style villa that accommodates up to twelve guests across six bedrooms. Showcasing stunning mountain views, this impressive holiday home incorporates the very best of modern Spanish architecture with breathtaking traditional touches.

Villa Luziana’s dazzling white-washed walls, authentic-style roof tiles and sprays of natural stonework encase an interior that will take your breath away. The decor throughout is fresh and bright, with white walls that are beautifully complemented by a stylish colour palette of soft and charcoal greys, bright mustard and sunflower, and azure blue that offer refreshing pops of colour throughout the living spaces. Comprising both a main house and a small apartment, every inch of Villa Luziana features modern fixtures and furnishings for a touch of total luxury to ensure an enjoyable and thoroughly memorable stay.

The main villa’s ground floor is light and spacious and comprises two comfortable seating areas. The first features a large, comfortable curved sofa - ideal for snuggling up and enjoying a film on the wall-mounted flatscreen TV. The second space offers sumptuous seating in front of a gorgeous fireplace. Both areas work together seamlessly to offer an entertainment space, as well as somewhere to enjoy a cuppa and a chat while you plan the day’s adventures! Patio doors open out from here onto a partially-covered terrace and dining table, providing an excellent spot for enjoying pre-dinner drinks while taking in the views over the grounds. Just off the lounge, you’ll find the villa’s open-plan kitchen-diner, which features modern appliances, including a large fridge-freezer, coffee machine, integrated oven, hob, and dishwasher. The kitchen offers a good amount of food preparation space, including an island feature, and there is a classic wooden dining table that seats up to twelve guests so the whole group can dine together in style. Other convenient additions to the ground floor include a handy laundry room and a WC.

Villa Luziana has three ground-floor bedrooms, including a master with a double bed, TV and ensuite, and direct access to the garden via french doors. There is also a large double bedroom and a twin room, both with ensuite facilities. On the first floor is another double, which has access to a beautiful roof terrace complete with sun loungers for total relaxation.

The fifth and sixth bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are within the independent apartment that’s located just off the terrace. All bedrooms are decorated to the same high standards as the rest of the villa, with clean, modern decor, well-crafted furniture, and luxurious soft furnishings that offer warm splashes of colour.

Villa Luziana offers guests a beautiful outside space that includes a private pool surrounded by sun loungers and an attractive gravelled garden. Here you’ll find the perfect area for relaxation, where you can recline with a good book and a cocktail or take a refreshing dip on a hot afternoon. The villa grounds are home to several lawned areas, a variety of trees and plants that offer some welcome shade, a charming fountain feature, and even a table tennis table for enjoying family tournaments.

Villa Luziana’s quiet, residential location, backed by dramatic hills and mountains, is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of north Mallorca, so be sure to enjoy some of the countryside pathways and trails on foot or by bike. There are plenty of great amenities nearby, with a couple of supermarkets just a five-minute drive from the villa, and cafes, restaurants, shops and a shopping centre just ten minutes away. A more extensive selection of amenities, including fine dining, bars and historical sites, can be found in the nearby town of Pollensa - but this is not somewhere to visit just because it’s convenient! This ancient town has a history that dates back to the 13th century and is packed with plenty of sightseeing opportunities, such as its narrow, winding streets, quaint buildings and bustling market square. The town is small and easy to explore on foot, but be aware that it can be a steep and uneven walk, so suitable footwear is a must!

A popular attraction with visitors to Pollensa is the Calvari Steps, which lead from the Placa Major (main square) to the top of the town, where you’ll discover the beautiful little Church of Nostra Senyora dels Angels. At midday, the light spills through the church’s gorgeous stained glass windows, which really is a sight to behold. However,  whatever time you visit, you’ll be rewarded with this stunning building’s intricate interior and some incredible views over the town. The walk isn’t an easy one - with over 300 steps! - so you might best avoid this if you’re visiting with young children.

Another of Pollensa’s most famous features is the Roman bridge over the Sant Jordi River. This pretty spot is the ideal place to stop and take a breather while you enjoy ice cream and take in an incredible atmosphere. We also recommend that during your time in Pollensa that you visit Museo Dionis Bennassar, the home of a local artist that is now used to showcase his incredible works. This peaceful and inspirational place is the perfect spot for art lovers and anyone who wants to enjoy some quiet contemplation while soaking up some local culture.

Pollensa isn’t known for its nightlife (you won’t find any big nightclubs here), but it does offer a warm and cosy buzz after dark! The area is one of the quieter holiday spots in Mallorca, so it’s never packed. Locals and tourists socialise in the main square and along the seafront near the port once the sun has gone down. The atmosphere is great in and around the terrace bars and restaurants. A lot of the bars will have live music or karaoke, so you’re sure to find somewhere that has a vibe you’ll enjoy. If you want to get your groove on, one small nightclub just off the main square is open until the early hours and is popular with the younger crowd. If you’re looking for more intense nightlife, nearby Alcudia has bars and clubs aplenty, with popular haunts being Banana Club, Cafe Milano, and La Nit Music.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.

Kids

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

Villa Luziana is the perfect family-friendly base for your Mediterranean holiday, thanks to its secure grounds and safe, peaceful surroundings. Being part of a residential area means there are some convenient amenities close by, keeping things as stress-free as possible when it comes to impatient and excitable kids! Whatever their age, children staying here will enjoy all of the outside space that Villa Luziana offers - whether it’s taking a cooling swim in the pool, running around the lawns, or playing table tennis. Inside, satellite TV and WiFi provide some familiar home comforts, and with a choice of bedrooms split between the main house and the adjoining apartment, you’re sure to find a configuration that will suit your needs.

The nearby town of Pollensa offers plenty of places to stop for drinks and snacks, as well as restaurants offering dishes that will suit even the fussiest eaters - with the majority in the area having good-sized children’s menus. This charming town isn’t huge and is much quieter than other tourist hotspots, making it less daunting for the kids than some of the busier areas of Mallorca.

Suppose you want to travel further afield with the kids during your stay. In that case, the nearest beach is just a short drive away at Puerto Pollensa, and there are plenty of other exciting things to see and do for adventurous children who want to experience something a bit different. We recommend taking an excursion in a glass-bottom boat while you’re in the region - kids and adults alike are sure to love it! Plenty of these popular trips are available in Puerto Pollensa, with some offering extras such as snorkelling or fishing - with lunch included! - as well as the chance to visit other beaches in the region. There are lots of activities to get involved in in the area surrounding Villa Luziana, including golf, cycling, horse-riding, water sports and coastal walks, so you’re sure to find something to entertain and excite everyone - even hard-to-impress teens.

Paintball Fantasy Mallorca Park is just a few minutes away by car for kids who enjoy something a little more high-octane. Set within a stunning oak forest and suitable for children aged eight and up, it’s a great place to enjoy a fun-filled family day out. Why not play adults versus children for an extra dose of competition? Instructors are available for advice and help as you navigate your way around a series of wood buildings and shelters, all while wearing protective gear and armed with a paintball gun.

  • Stunning, secluded and spacious

    on 30/09/2021

A wonderfully well appointed villa, set in a secluded location in La Font. Spotless throughout, excellent amenities in the kitchen and the private heated pool was a delight. I particularly appreciated the welcome pack, which included many provisions (and more) essential for the first night's stay.
