Tucked away in idyllic countryside within the residential area of La Font close to the town of Pollensa, Villa Lucero is a traditional holiday home that’s full of contemporary charm and convenience.
The rooms have been lovingly furnished throughout to enhance the villa’s rustic character and add a touch of modern luxury with their fixtures and features. The outside space is where traditional Spanish style comes into its own, with rambling gardens, stone terraces and outdoor dining. Beautiful mountain views can also be enjoyed from this massive plot.
One of the most welcoming rooms at Villa Lucero is the spacious living room, and it’s divided into two areas. The main space features incredibly comfortable sofas that invite you to sit back and sink yourself into. They sit in a perfect position to watch television in the evenings, making movie night a comfortable experience.
Space behind has another sofa and a couple of chairs for enjoying some quiet time reading as you feel the gentle breeze coming in through the open patio doors that lead onto a lovely terrace. An open-plan kitchen/dining area makes serving meals easy and convenient.
The fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a range of modern facilities, such as a large fridge freezer, oven and microwave. Close by is the dining table with space for several people.
Through floor-to-ceiling glass doors is the partially-covered main terrace with further dining space provided by a large wood dining table that seats up to 10 people. This is the perfect place to enjoy al fresco meals made from local produce as there’s also a built-in barbecue nearby. Also nearby on the terrace is a casual seating area for enjoying pre-dinner drinks.
There are five bedrooms in total, with all being of a large size and four of them have ensuite facilities. Three bedrooms have double beds, and two bedrooms feature two single beds each. There’s also a lovely family bathroom for use by all guests. Due to tourist license laws the property can only sleep 6 adults plus children therefore the local property manager will need to know the adults and children in the group.
The outside space is just beautiful, with gardens that have an almost fairytale-like look and feel. The lush lawns are dotted with mature trees and colourful plants and flowers, with a private swimming pool at the heart of the garden. This is surrounded by a terrace covered with shaded sun loungers. The most striking feature of all is the impressive mountainous backdrop, which can be viewed from many areas.
What you should know…
- Not all bedrooms are ensuite but have use of the spacious family bathroom
- Be aware that the pool is unfenced, so take care with younger children
- Free WiFi is available
- In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa LuceroVilla Lucero occupies a rural setting within the stunning countryside of north Mallorca but is also part of a small residential area. This means that you can enjoy the privacy and security of having a small community close by as well as having easy access to some amenities.
Within a five-minute drive are several restaurants, shops, cafés, supermarkets, and even a shopping centre. Since the countryside is right on your doorstep, getting out to explore the naturally beautiful area couldn’t be easier. Take long walks through the lush, green surroundings and even hike up paths into the hills.
For a more excellent choice of amenities, you’ll need to drive to the nearest town of Pollensa. The journey there takes less than 10 minutes, so you can also enjoy days out sightseeing in the city.
There’s lots of history to be discovered within its quaint old streets, with its old town area dating back to the 18th-century and many structures going back thousands of years. These include the Roman bridge called Pont Romà and the Puig de Pollensa, a medieval chapel and watchtower at the top of a hill overlooking the town.
Pollensa’s bustling market square is where you’ll find some of the most charming shops, with plenty of café terraces and restaurants for people watching too.
Around 10-minutes north of the villa is the resort town of Puerto Pollensa. This is the best place to go for a day out by sea, with long stretches of golden sand and calm waters for swimming. You can get out on the water by hiring some dinghies or pedaloes, or relax on the beach as you watch the children play.

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Lucero is ideal for families with children of any age. There are two twin rooms designed for younger children to share, as well as double rooms to suit the needs of older ones who want some independence.
The outside space offers a swimming pool and extensive gardens that are perfect for exploring, with lawns for playing a range of games on.
For a fun-filled day out with the family, head to Hidropark, just outside the town of Alcudia. The journey to this extremely popular water park takes only 15 minutes by car so that the children can be splashing about in no time.
Lots of water rides and attractions are on offer here, as well as inflatables and floating balls. There are also several pools that cater for all ages, with keen swimmers especially sure to enjoy the wave pool.
The local area is ideal for those who want to get a bit more active, with invigorating coastal walks and cycling terrain that even the pros are challenged by. The island is excellent for horse-riding and water-sports, and for beach life, it’s pretty unbeatable too, with the golden sands of Port de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenç well worth seeking out.
