Situated at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains in Bunyola, the enchanting Casa Alzi is a beautiful country home with spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and countryside. 

Just 12km away is the capital of Mallorca, Palma, yet here at the traditional finca, nestled away in glorious countryside, you will feel a million miles away from the busier spots of the island.

On entry, you are greeted with a beautiful open-plan living space with an authentic staircase leading up to the first floor. The living room, which has sumptuous sofas and a wide screen TV and fireplace, has access to the pretty courtyard and a gorgeous terrace with outdoor lounge furniture. It’s a perfect spot for al fresco coffee and reading. The sweeping stone stairway leads you down to the fabulous round swimming pool, adorned with traditional white pillars and surrounded by sunbeds. The beautiful backdrop of mountain views adds to the relaxing vibe of the garden area.

Back in the beautiful Casa, the open-plan living space continues with a well-equipped, modern kitchen and dining area, with large patio doors opening out to the terrace.

Two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms are located on the first floor and are each beautifully decorated with lavish furniture, and the stone walls and wooden beams are perfectly in-keeping with traditional Majorcan style. The two double bedrooms each have a smart, modern ensuite bathroom. There are two guest bathrooms too, featuring a beautiful stone bathtub.

Tucked away on the basement floor is the fifth double bedroom along with a second lounge area, where you’ll find a sofa bed for 2 guests. 

Back down by the swimming pool, guests can enjoy use of the outhouse which has a barbecue, an outdoor kitchen area and a dining table. A beautiful spot for long leisurely lunches away from the heat of the day.

Casa Alzi is located just 2 km away from Palmanyola where you’ll find a supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy and tennis club. The weekly market is worth a visit and held every Wednesday on the main square. Small bays like Cala Deià or Cala Banyalbufar are close by along with the sandy beach, Illetas.

  • The en-suite bathroom to the master double bedroom does not have a door, so make sure you are comfortable with your roommate!
  • To reach the swimming pool area, guests must walk down concrete steps but the area is in close proximity to the house.

The casa is in a beautiful position in the urbanization of Sa Coma de Bunyola near Palma, at the foothills of Tramuntana Mountains. It’s in a secluded location yet is close to many beaches and towns for exploration. Running almost 90 kilometres long and with many of its peaks over a kilometre high, the whole mountain range has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for its historical, cultural, and environmental importance. Whether you drive, cycle or hike, there are so many stunning sights to see along the way, including cliff top viewing points like the Mirador de Ricardo Roca and the Mirador Es Colomer that will take your breath away.

Palma de Mallorca is a stunning city rich in history, dating back to the 13th-century Christian reconquest of the island, and to the Moors, Romans and Talayotic people. There’s also an abundance of restaurants, bars, galleries and museums to enjoy, along with baroque churches, traditional markets and bohemian boutiques.

For a day at the beach, small bays like Cala Deià or Cala Banyalbufar or sandy beaches like Illetas are just a short drive away. For golf lovers, the nearest Golf Son Termens is 3 km away from the house, and a horse riding club is just 1 km away.

Just 2 km away from the house is Palmanyola, where you’ll find the nearest supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy and a tennis club. The weekly market is held every Wednesday on the main square.
