A spacious and stylish villa, found close to the energetic region of Cala d’Or, Casa Ferrera combines functionality and luxury all in one exquisite space. The outdoor areas of this villa are truly abundant, seen by the expansive swimming pool in the centre. This pool is surrounded by tan-coloured tiles for a more authentic look. Within the outdoor areas, there is also a small patch of grass, complete with a collection of sun loungers. Therefore, guests can sit by the pool and let all of their worries melt away. Moreover, there is also a table tennis unit next to the sun loungers for guests to enjoy. In addition, Casa Ferrera also has an outdoor terrace area, which is suitable for unique dining experiences and gazing out at the beautiful scenery.
Casa Ferrera is a two-storey villa, offering a plethora of space for guests to move around. As you enter the first floor, you will come across the lounge/dining area. This area is complete with a pair of striking red sofas as well as a set of patio doors. As such, this creates a bright and airy atmosphere that carries throughout the property. Next to this space is a large dining table equipped with a collection of matching dining chairs. This is able to create a simple yet communal, dining experience for all of the guests to enjoy. Moving on to the kitchen area, you will see an array of light brown cupboards that help to create a homely and traditional feel. This space is fully-fitted with everything you would need to create a variety of amazing dishes. The first bedroom within Casa Ferrera is located on the ground floor. This room makes use of a spacious double bed, fitted with a set of ample and luxurious linens. Not to mention, this room also includes an en-suite bathroom for that sense of added opulence.
The first floor of this property is home to the other two bedrooms. These rooms are twin rooms that both contain a pair of single beds. These rooms are perfect for children or for guests who would prefer to sleep separately. Furthermore, these rooms share an adjoining bathroom that is fitted with an expansive shower.

About the surrounding area of Casa FerreraCasa Ferrera is a very vibrant property within its own right and is located within close proximity of the Cala d’Or town centre. This exuberant beach town can be found just 1.1km away from the villa, placing you directly in the centre of the region’s most loved activities. Cala d’Or is well known for its exciting nightlife and shopping districts. For example, Avinguda Tagomago is the town’s most popular shopping district and is packed full of designer shops. Thus, you can find that special souvenir to bring home with pride. Moreover, Cala d’Or is praised for its popular nightlife attractions, including Sky Bar. This is an acclaimed nightclub that includes a DJ that performs until 4 am during peak seasons.
Cala d’Or is also known for its ingenious wine industry, hosting a plethora of independent wineries across the town. Son Alegre is a unique vineyard located in Canonge, which is just 6-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or. Son Alegre is known for its pioneering and eco-friendly approach to winemaking. Using a collection of solar-powered initiatives, the founders have managed to reduce their carbon footprint and make the wine industry more sustainable. Therefore, they are able to make their exquisite wines without too much impact on their surrounding environment. Guests can partake in a guided tour of Son Alegre’s grounds for just €25 per person. This experience also includes a tasting platter of some of their finest wines and oils.
For lovers of golf, the Vall d’Or Golf Club is just 13-minutes away from the centre of Cala d’Or. This incredible 18-hole course offers tremendous views of the coastline and complete access to all of the facilities. This course can be enjoyed by both beginners and experts as it contains a range of raised and flat areas. Plus, the club is also home to a complete buggy network, making it easier for guests to travel around this considerable course. There is also a high-class restaurant located on-site so guests can devour a delicious meal after a riveting game of golf. Prices for this attraction are considered to be fairly reasonable, with a standard 18-hole fee costing €112.

THE REGION
Cala d'Or – or the 'Golden Bay' – is a popular beach area on the southeast coast of Mallorca, south of Portocolom and neighbouring the coastal town of Portopetro. In Cala d'Or you really get an all-round holiday experience with wonderful beaches, interesting excursions, well-preserved nature and varied nightlife.
Cala d'Or is an excellent spot for a beach holiday thanks to its impressive facilities and wonderful beaches. Huge fun is the mini 'train' which runs along the roads for holidaymakers between the main resort and beaches. The town is also a great base for exploring some of the best natural and historical sights that southeast Mallorca has to offer.

Best Suited For: All AgesCala d’Or is a very family-friendly region, filled with activities that everyone will enjoy. Located less than 30-minutes away from Cala d’Or is Drach Caves, a wondrous landmark that the whole family will enjoy. These caves are teeming with intricate structures, helping them to become a treasured tourist destination for generations. Guest even have the opportunity to take part in a guided boat tour that travels along the broad underground lake. At certain points of the day, guests can even view the classical music concert that is performed around this lake. Drach Caves is a very affordable attraction with tickets costing €15 for adults and €8 for children.
During the last week of May, the vibrant and exciting Cala d’Or Jazz Festival takes place. Since 1994, this incredible festival has attracted guests from around the world. Older children will especially love seeing some of the world’s most fantastic jazz musicians perform in the selection of locations around the town. Although a majority of the performances take place in pubs and bars, there are a collection of performances at the Cala d’Or Marina, which may be more suitable for children to attend. This festival lasts for 6 days and begins at 8 pm every night. In addition, each performance can be attended free of charge, making this an unmissable event.
Just 700m away from Casa Ferrera is the spectacular Cala Ferrera beach. This amazing destination places warm sands and crystal clear waters into one stunning area. As the waters at this beach are very shallow, they are safe for children to swim in. Plus, the safer areas are marked off by buoys, creating a more relaxed environment for children to enjoy. Take the time to sit back on this beach and watch the calm waters move in and out at a soothing pace. During off-peak seasons, Casa Ferrera beach is usually very quiet, giving guests enough space to explore this beach fully. This remarkable beach is close to a quaint village that is filled with a variety of local bars and restaurants. In turn, guests are encouraged to grab a bite to eat and take in the nuances of the local area.
