This space allows guests to cool off after a busy day of exploring the local sights, making it a key facility within the entire home. The exterior also hosts a diverse selection of outdoor terraces. Inside, this property expertly blends a series of traditional and modern furnishings, helping to build an incredibly versatile villa. The living room showcases a plethora of striking white sofas and armchairs, building a deeply bright and airy space. This vast attraction is based in the home Jose Saramago lived in for the last 18 years of his life, allowing guests to explore a variety of personal memorabilia and artefacts. Jose Saramago is best known for winning the Nobel Prize for Literature back in 1998 and is also recognised for his popular works Blindness and The Gospel According to Jesus Christ. This museum gives tourists a chance to explore this art form from a much more intimate perspective and encourages them to delve into the legacy of this very prolific author. Casa Museo Jose Saramago has located around 5 minutes away and welcomes guests Monday-Friday from 10 am till 1:30 pm.

THE REGION
Puerto del Carmen is the main tourist town on the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. It is part of the municipality of Tías. Most of Lanzarote's over 1 million visitors per year choose this town as their destination. As a result, it remains Lanzarote's most popular resort, now sprawling along 7km of the island's south-central coast.
With sunshades, four lanes deep, and just 10-minute drive southwest from the airport, Lanzarote's original purpose-built resort is a primarily British-geared hub packed with bars, restaurants, clubs, jet skis, dive schools, banana boats, sports screens, and plenty of shopping.
