With an enviable postcode in Puerto Calero, this three-story townhouse has breath-taking sea views, celebrating the stark beauty of this part of Lanzarote. Close to the marina, promenade and amenities a short walk away it’s a perfect location for those who love the sea.

From the front of the property, you are well and truly treated to exceptional unobstructed sea views, and to the right you’ll be able to view Lanzarote’s volcanic rock mountainous landscape. Light and airy throughout, inside the rooms are all modest and comfortably furnished and decorated in neutral colours and pastels to allow in the wonderful light of the island. On the ground floor is the living area complete with comfy sofas and smart TV where you can cosy up during the evening and simply Netflix and chill. And, the all-important Wi-Fi will allow you to share numerous photos of where you are with those back home – the view alone will seriously make everyone jealous!

Step outside to the paved terrace and there is space to sit in the sunshine and work on your tan around the pool. This furnished terrace just outside the living room provides a shady spot to while away the hours and there is also a dining table and chairs for making the most of al-fresco eating come morning, noon and evening. Another enticing spot to while away your time basking in the sunshine is a cute little area at the far end of the pool. Perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner drink or star gazing, there’s nothing to distract you from the view beyond.

Back inside, and still on the ground floor, the kitchen maintains the modest look with all the facilities you need to prepare tasty meals. You’ve also got a partially covered utility area with washing machine and washing line should you need to do bit of laundry. There’s also a double bedroom with en-suite on the lower ground floor. Climb the stairs to the upper level and you’ll discover the master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The highlight here once again is that view. You’ve access onto a furnished terrace affording a bird’s-eye view over the incredible blue waters, a dreamy place to enjoy that first early morning coffee whilst contemplating the day ahead. The third double bedroom is on this floor too, and comes with its own en-suite bathroom too. For extra comfort on hot days, all the bedrooms have air conditioning to keep them feeling nicely cool on hot balmy nights.

For days out, Casa Amanda has easy access to the marina of Puerto Calero where you’ll discover several international restaurants, bars, cafes and designer shops. You’re also handily placed for taking one of the sea excursions that leave the marina for an adventure day – these will whisk you away to nearby resorts and beaches such as Playa Dorada and Papagayo.

THE REGION

Puerto Calero is situated on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen, positioned in a naturally protected enclave on Lanzarote's sheltered south coast, and has earned a reputation as one of the world's top sailing destinations while retaining a distinctive village-type atmosphere.

Puerto Calero is much more than a marina; there is a wide selection of cafés, bars and restaurants along the waterfront, and it's a beautiful place to sit and watch the comings and goings, with the sound of the clink of ropes on the masts, and the school of fish that swim around the marina – eager for any leftover bread from your meal.

At Casa Amanda, there is limited outdoor space for kids to run wild. The garden has a patio area where kids can enjoy the sunshine, play games and revel in the joy of eating outdoor meals. There’s a shaded awning too for when the heat gets too much. Even though the exterior space is limited, children can enjoy hours of fun in the swimming pool. Also, if the weather isn’t at its finest, you have the added feature of a Smart TV with Netflix and wi-fi being available for you to use. This can offer children and you some entertainment.

Food will not be a worry for families as in almost every resort you encounter on the island and in Puerto Calero itself, you’ll discover restaurants, cafes and bars catering to all appetites. You’ll even be able to introduce some Spanish cuisine into the menu! Some familiar franchises lie in resorts too and will give the kids some home favourites should they wish a taste of home. And, supermarkets provide everything you need to ensure sure you are fully stocked up for your stay!

For beach days, families will love Puerto del Carmen’s beaches. There is something for everyone. From simply stretching out on a hammock or deckchair on to playgrounds for the little ones, as well as activities across land, sea and air to keep everybody captivated. On the other side of town lies Puerto del Carmen's old fishing harbour, home to a charming square where you can mingle with the locals and holidaymakers.

Pool towels included? No.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Flexible.
Pets welcome? Not allowed.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? For those who require pool heating, is included in the rental price between 1st November – 31st May. Outside of these dates, there will be a charge of €15 per day (to be paid to the owner prior to travel). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures.
Tax Tourist tax not applicable.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs 1 cot with linen and 1 highchair can be provided for free, on request only. If guests require more, the extra cost will be €25 per cot and €15 per high chair, per week.
