You will love admiring the dazzling vistas over the glistening blue sea and the mystical island of Formentera at Villa Cardo. The home is nestled amongst the lush greenery of the island. From the home, you’ll be able to take a leisurely ten-minute stroll toward the nearest restaurant as well as the lovely village of Es Cubells.
The home boasts a fantastic infinity edge pool that allows you to swim while overlooking the endless horizon. Drinks in the sunshine can be enjoyed on one of the bright blue sun loungers or bean bag placed poolside.
Lazy lunches and casual dinners are best had on the sunny outdoor lounge on the pool deck. There is also a statue of a Buddha's head beside the pool which radiates peace and tranquillity.
An exterior staircase leads up to a delightful terrace complete with an elegant dining area. You can also access this space from the interior living room.
The home’s interior is bright and spacious, full of modern wall art and a neutral colour palette with pops of soft pink. The bedrooms benefit from tiled floors and white furniture. This makes for a blissfully peaceful space for you to indulge in a full night’s sleep.
The modern kitchen is equipped with everything needed to create delicious meals, drinks and snacks including a juicer and Nespresso coffee machine.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa CardoThe lovely village of Es Cubells is a fantastic way to experience the island as it remains unmoved with the times and has less than one thousand inhabitants. At just a fifteen minute stroll away, the village’s best-known feature is its striking whitewashed church. From the church, visitors can enjoy brilliant vistas over the island before heading to one of the village’s two bars.
The quiet village hosts two festivals. One on 16th July honouring Our Lady of Carmen, a saint of the sailors. The other is centred around Spanish nun Saint Teresa of Jesus on 15th October.
When walking through the village, you will also discover a small playground and a sports centre that focuses predominantly on the village’s favourite sport, archery. Visitors love frequenting this quaint little village for its undisturbed tranquillity, providing a stark change from the more touristy places on the island.
Ibiza Cathedral is a wonderful attraction that allows you to explore more of the island’s rich history and is reachable via a 25-minute drive. The cathedral boasts beautiful Catalan Gothic and Baroque architecture that will be appreciated by those who have a love for art and history.
By embarking on a steep walk up the stairs, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views across the enchanting old town and sea. From the top, you will feel a sense of calmness and relaxation as you gaze at the residents of the town below and the boats gliding across the seas clear waters.

THE REGION
Although set just outside the buzz of the village of San José, Es Cubells is distant enough to create a wonderful feeling of seclusion. As you drive past traditional fincas and rural farmland plus olive and orange groves, the pressure of everyday life seems to just slip away.
The exclusive, ultra-private properties peppered along the rocky cliffside are contemporary and luxurious in style yet possess an air of laid-back chic, setting the scene for the ultimate Mediterranean getaway.
Typical Spanish cuisine can be found in the two restaurants in the little village – take your pick between Bar Llumbi Restaurante – famous for mama’s pork chops and tasty tapas dishes – overlooking the sea, or tuck into hearty plates like grilled meats, whole fish baked in salt, paella or typical Ibicenco dishes including bullit de peix or guisat de peix on the sunny terrace of Bar Restaurante Es Cubells just opposite the church.

The centre, which was founded in 1993 focuses on the natural environment and making the planet better for everyone. Situated in the lush green countryside, kids will love exploring the centre’s unique creations.
Using upcycling, volunteers have created various living spaces, three eco-toilets, a bottle house, media centre and best of all, a tree house!
The centre is only a 25-minute drive away from Villa Cardo.
