Overview
Nestled in the pine-covered hills of the south side of Ibiza, Casa Blay is a traditional Ibizan villa with views of the vast blue ocean and incredible feelings of tranquillity. Built in the traditional Ibizan style, Casa Blay has been carefully restored and is wonderfully decorated with white walls, wood accents and pops of colour throughout. The villa is laid out over one level and is especially welcoming for groups with little children or mobility differences.
Casa Blay benefits from 4 bedrooms in total, each decorated in light tones and with simple furnishing to allow a spacious and relaxing space for you to rest and recharge after each day spent exploring all that Ibiza offers. Two of the bedrooms are doubles with the added benefit of their own en-suite bathrooms. The final two bedrooms consist of a further double and one with two singles, with these bedrooms having use of the final and shared bathroom.
The Casa Blay kitchen is modest but retains everything you need to cook up your meals during your stay. There is an oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery, and knife set. If you fancy a break from Ibiza’s many incredible and diverse restaurants, you can still whip up lovely meals here!
There is a dining table in the open living space and one outside under a terrace, allowing you to enjoy your meals al fresco. Also, next to the outdoor table, you will find a grill, where you can cook up fresh fish and vegetables to enjoy with a glass of wine and the stunning view.
The living space is cosy and homely, yet spacious, with white walls and light flooring adding to the airy openness. With a few sofas, armchairs, and a radio in the corner, it is the perfect spot to socialise in your downtime or plan your next outing to Ibiza. The TV is in view of the dining table and sofa, meaning you can take in some entertainment or simply leave it on for background noise while eating.
Stepping outside into the pool area, you will feel absolutely at peace with your little slice of paradise. The tall and swaying trees line the property with the forest in view beyond. Sun loungers line the pool, and a group of outdoor sofas are tucked under the terrace, providing ample options for laying back and enjoying the breeze, sun, and view. The pool is a blue gem below you, with a stepped entry to help everyone enjoy it.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa BlayCasa Blay is nestled amongst tall swaying trees on a hill that provides stunning views of the surrounding pine forest, the vast blue ocean and the mysterious island of Es Vedra. The villa is just a 10-minute drive to Es Cubells, a small fishing village to the east. Es Cubells is an unparalleled area of unique beauty and stunning landscapes, which has led to it being home to many beautiful holiday homes like Casa Blay.
A central white-walled church is located on the cliff edge of Es Cubells, a historic and beautiful building with stunning views beyond it. The church square here also hosts two local bars where you can sip on crafted cocktails, a grocery store, and a children's park.
The beaches at the foot of Es Cubells cliffs are wonderful natural pebble coves, and the warm water calls you to grab a snorkelling set and dive in. If you fancy feeling the sand between your toes, sand beaches are available here in Ibiza. Head to Cala d'Hort beach, just a 5-minute drive from Casa Blay, to find a beach with gorgeous warm sand and clear waters.
A 30-minute drive north will get you to the world-famous Sunset Strip, so named due to the incredible burst of colours on show when the sun sinks into the ocean. The promenade stretches from the harbour to Caló des Moro beach, making it the perfect spot for dinner and an evening stroll. It's one of the island's most popular spots, so it really is a must-visit during your stay.
One of the less discussed benefits of Ibiza is that the island is small but mighty. To drive from the top of the island to the bottom would take only an hour and only 30 minutes to drive from one side to the other. If you want to explore the wider area of Ibiza, renting a car and taking day trips to each island corner will let you experience every part of it during your stay. There are incredible things to do in this small and beautiful package!

THE REGION
Cala d'Hort is a small, beloved beach with a fantastic view of the mysterious island of Es Vedrà, which rises dramatically from the sea only several hundred metres from the shore. The beach itself is sandy to one side, pebbly to the other, and in summer is extremely popular.
There are three excellent beach restaurants in the area, renowned for fresh fish dishes, including the traditional seafood paella. The restaurant Es Boldado is situated high on the cliffs above the bay. It is accessed from the road to the beach from San José (signposted), or, if you're brave, you can scramble over the rocks and fishermen's huts to the wooden staircase that takes you up to this popular restaurant.

Best Suited For: All AgesKids are welcome in Casa Blay no matter how small or old they are, so bring the whole family and experience this slice of paradise in the hills of Ibiza. Although Ibiza may be best known globally for its nightlife and party scene, those in the know are also aware of its wonderful ability to host incredible family holidays.
The traditional villa is tucked away amongst swaying trees to provide your group with feelings of privacy and added relaxation. Casa Blay has four bedrooms for you to use, with the airy design allowing room for kids to move about freely. Parents can take one of the doubles with an en-suite, and the rest of the rooms can be split amongst the rest of the group.
The living area at Casa Blay is also spacious, with plenty of sitting space for kids wanting to rest during their downtime. They can use the TV in the corner to keep themselves entertained or connect to Wi-Fi and chat with friends back home. Furthermore, due to the open plan design of the area, parents cooking up a meal in the kitchen can look over and keep an eye on what little ones are doing.
Outside, kids will feel one with nature as swaying trees surround the property. There is patio space for them to run around and play games, but they should be supervised when outside as the pool isn’t gated. The pool will also be a massive success with kids, as they will welcome the relief of cool water and enjoy the endless splashy fun.
Casa Blay is just 10 minutes drive from the town of Es Cubells and so getting kids around isn’t hard at all. Here, small kids will surely love the children’s park as though it was built just for them. They will also be sure to enjoy the pebble coves under the cliff or travel a little further out to enjoy the wonders of the sand beaches.
Be sure to visit the Sunset Strip, a must-see for families looking to take in an incredible sunset. Enjoy the warm beach during the day before ducking into one of the restaurants for dinner and enjoying a post-dinner ice cream from the promenade after.
Head to Aquarium Cap Blanc, where you will find a marine life exhibit in a natural underground cave that will surely be a trip highlight for all. Let kids discover the different species of fish in their natural environment.

Great stay
The barbecue area was well used and made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also of a high standard. We appreciated the fact that there were basic cupboard staples and Nespresso upon arrival. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Casa Blay.
