Situated on Gran Canaria’s exclusive Salobre Golf Resort, Villa Terraza is a two-bedroom, two-storey villa offering stylish, modern living and stunning golf course views, just fifteen minutes from the beaches of Maspalomas. The villa is an incredibly bright and spacious, open-concept property set over two storeys and decorated throughout in a fresh, light colour palette. It features elegant tiled flooring and lots of floor-to-ceiling glass doors that allow in plenty of natural light and sunshine, and every room is enlivened with bursts of bright colour and pattern in the luxurious, high-end soft furnishings. Villa Terraza’s rooms are fitted with stylish, modern light fixtures and contemporary, high-quality furniture that add a touch of class that is reminiscent of a five-star hotel resort. The villa’s living area features a large flat screen TV and cosy, contemporary-style sofas and coffee table, as well as a stylish breakfast bar with achingly cool perspex seating that offers guests the perfect spot to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or a morning coffee.
Villa Terraza’s two bedrooms have modern ensuite facilities and are just as stylishly decorated as the other living spaces. There is both a double bedroom and a twin - ideal if you’re bringing the kids along for their first golfing holiday! - and each one has a light, fresh decor featuring shades of cream and white and offers stunning views across the villa grounds and beyond. The double bedroom is located on the first floor and offers access to a fully-furnished sun terrace - a great place to relax with a good book or to catch some Mediterranean rays! Guests staying in the twin room on the ground floor can access the private pool terrace through sliding glass doors - something perhaps to be aware of if young children are likely to be sleeping in this room.
Having a private pool to cool off in after a busy day is one of the greatest pleasures of choosing accommodation like Villa Terraza, and the one featured at this property is a real gem! Easily accessible by Roman steps, making it ideal for the whole family, adults should be aware that not only is it at ground level, it doesn’t have a fence or barrier, so you’ll want to keep an extra eye on the kids when they’re playing in the vicinity. However, well-supervised kids will love nothing more than splashing about to their heart’s content - without having to share! You’ll find an array of outdoor spaces to enjoy for relaxation and entertaining at Villa Terraza, with a covered outdoor living space that features comfortable sofa seating and a coffee table and an outdoor dining area for alfresco meals. For the sun-worshippers among you, there’s no shortage of loungers around the pool, making it easy to go from having a refreshing swim to reclining with a good book or a delicious cocktail and taking in the relaxing atmosphere while you soak up those rays.
What you should know…

About the surrounding area of Villa TerrazaVilla Terraza is part of an exclusive, high-end complex on Gran Canaria’s celebrated Salobre Golf Resort. The resort features the best greens in the region and promises players of all levels a challenging game in a stunning setting. It is the only resort in the Canary Islands to combine two eighteen-hole courses on the same site and is situated just minutes from the towns of Meloneras and Maspalomas and all that they have to offer in the way of beaches, restaurants, bars and leisure facilities. The area is well-known for its vast expanses of coastal dunes, a protected site that covers over a thousand acres. You can explore much of this area on foot, taking in sights such as the beautiful lagoon and lighthouse, but we recommend taking a camel safari for a truly unique and fun way to experience this incredible landscape.
Foodies will be pleased to know that both Maspalomas Meloneras is bursting with fantastic seafront restaurants that offer a tantalising mix of fantastic views and even better food! If seafood is a particular favourite, you’re in for a treat, but you won’t struggle to find other types of cuisine here either! The region has a wide range of delicious cuisine on offer, such as pulpo and prawns, grilled calamari, paella, steaks, tapas, burgers and pasta dishes - as well as plenty of bars where you can enjoy cocktails and pre-dinner drinks.
If you’re looking to get some shopping in during your stay at Salobre Golf Resort, you’ll be pleased to know that there are some fantastic outdoor markets to visit in the area, both during the week and on Saturdays, with stalls selling everything from clothing and jewellery to arts, crafts and fresh produce. The aloe vera plant is native to Gran Canaria, and so you’ll find a wide array of aloe vera products on sale at the markets here - so be sure to grab some locally-sourced skincare during your visit! If you’re looking for a higher-end shopping experience, we recommend heading to Boulevard Faro, where you’ll find well-known labels like La Perla, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger. A little further along the seafront, you’ll find the popular Bellavista and El Varadero shopping centres, as well as even more cafes, bars and restaurants to enjoy.

The property is on a residential complex that overlooks the Salobre Golf Course, a family-friendly resort that offers plenty in the way of leisure activities, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars. The nearby towns of Maspalomas and Meloneras are home to great beaches and markets, cycling and walking routes, and lots of shopping centres and eateries - so guests of all ages will find plenty to enjoy.
Maspalomas is home to the popular tourist attraction, Palmitos Park, an interactive zoological and botanical centre that lets guests get up close and personal with exotic birds like parrots, toucans and flamingos. Children of all ages will delight in a walk around the butterfly house before heading to see reptiles such as komodo dragons, caiman and turtles. If cute and furry is more their thing, the park also houses a wide array of cuddly-looking critters, including meerkats, aardvarks and wallabies that the kids will adore! For a truly unique experience, Palmitos Park offers a ‘Dolphin Encounters’ experience where small groups can enjoy half an hour spent with these majestic creatures. Here you’ll learn about their biology and habits in a fun and interactive way and even be able to take some souvenir photographs. The dolphin experience can be booked once you have entered the park rather than in advance, and we recommend reserving your places by 10 am to guarantee you the chance to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
A very different experience - but still a must-see attraction! - is El Faro de Maspalomas - one of the oldest lighthouses in Europe. This fascinating landmark is a popular tourist destination thanks to its picturesque beach setting and rich history that lends itself perfectly to a calming and interesting family day out. With plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area, it’s the perfect ‘base camp’ for your day out, with everything you need: sand, sea, sights and refreshments all in one place.
For another once-in-a-lifetime experience, older kids will love a trip to the Moonlight Cinema, Europe’s only permanent outdoor cinema. The kids will love cosying up on comfy sofas and blankets as they watch movies under the stars, all while being served freshly prepared food and drinks!

We loved it
We loved everything in general, very well equipped and very clean. It was short but very rewarding. We will definitely come back again.

Lovely and clean
The villa was lovely and clean and lots of space. The beds were very comfortable. The bread rolls in the morning and the welcome pack were nice touches. The pool was heated and a big hit with the kids. The site itself was quiet and relaxing. The nearest towns could be reached in 10-15 mins. The hosts were especially accommodating when our flight home got cancelled, we can't thank them enough for organising everything at such short notice.
