A luxurious and rural property located in the idyllic region of Costa de la Luz, Casa Cueva Lujo gives guests a chance to truly recharge their batteries and revel in a once-in-a-lifetime holiday experience. As you approach the exterior of this property, you will see a chic wooden decking area that has been equipped with a series of premium deckchairs as well as an opulent swimming pool. As a result, guests can choose between absorbing the warmth of the blazing sun or taking a dip in the refreshing water at any point during their stay. In addition, this property is teeming with an attractive selection of outdoor terraces. Therefore, these spaces are ideal for exciting al fresco dining experiences as you gaze out at the tremendous views that sit before you.
 
Inside, this property blends many modern and traditional motifs, creating a deeply unique and diverse holiday home. The living area is incredibly decadent, sporting a large comfortable seating arrangement that guests can use to kick back and relax whenever they please. Plus, this space contains a unique table that uses a looming plant as its centrepiece. This intriguing piece of decor further amplifies the quirky nature of this entire property. The dining area adheres to a much darker theme, adding a layer of style and contrast to the lower level. This space contains a slim black table with a collection of matching chairs, making it an ideal spot for guests to enjoy a range of delicious meals. The kitchen within this property follows a similar theme, showcasing a plethora of black cupboards and sleek surfaces. In turn, guests can experiment with their cooking skills throughout their time on this delightful property.

And what better place to relax and drift to sleep than on the comfortable beds that the four marvellous bedrooms contain? Guests can enjoy a restful night's sleep on three double beds and one bedroom with twin beds.   • The swimming pool is not fenced, so younger ones should be supervised at all times

Costa de la Luz is a highly sought-after tourist destination, filled with bustling attractions and intoxicating culture. If you are looking to immerse yourself in this region's decadent history, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art is a perfect place to visit. Translated as the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation, this establishment focuses on the beautiful art of horse dancing, presenting a wealth of shows, presentations, and memorabilia. Guests can uncover more about this alluring art form and how it has impacted the grandiose legacy of this area. Located in the stunning city of Jerez de la Frontera, just an hour's drive away, make sure to stop to also stop off at some of the quaint pueblos blancos ('white villages') on the way, such as Vejer de la Frontera. Known for their white-washed walls, they are a symbol of Andalusia and a must-see whilst you're visiting the region!
 
The major tourist attractions of the wider region, besides the many white towns and villages, can be found in Cadiz, the main city of Costa de la Luz. There you'll find the fascinating Torre Tavira, an eighteenth-century watchtower at the highest point in the city, which features Spain's first-ever camera obscura. There is also the immense Catedral de Cadiz with its impressive gold dome and, for the foodies, the Mercado Central (Central Market), famous for some of the freshest seafood in all of Spain.
 
The Central Market is a very popular landmark that operates directly in the centre of Costa de la Luz. Here, guests will discover an abundance of fresh produce, including aromatic herbs and wild asparagus, as well as a collection of local wines. Therefore, guests can purchase a collection of ingredients that they can use in their own cooking back at Casa Cueva Lujo. Moreover, this market offers a selection of fresh snails, providing guests with a true collection of European delicacies. If you are looking to purchase some of the handmade furniture showcased here, a majority of vendors will work to ship it internationally to your home.

Make sure to also visit some of the beautiful beaches of this area! Bolonia is closeby to the villa and features soft, golden sand and views of Morocco from across the blue waters. If you'd prefer to visit a less-secluded beach, drive about 20 minutes to the town of Tarifa, which boasts the southernmost point of continental Europe and some equally gorgeous beaches.

Costa de la Luz is also a perfect place for children due to its large number of fascinating and entertaining attractions and landmarks. The splendid city of Cadiz offers an open-top bus tour, great fried fish which children love, and is steeped in history. Yacimiento Arqueologico Gadir is a wonderful museum and site which explains the history and ruins of Cadiz. The guides are English-speaking, and the films have English subtitles. Entre Ramos is a treetop adventure park nestled in the pine forests in Roche, Cadiz. There are 58 obstacles, including zip wires, bridges, tarzan swings, hanging bridges, a flying car, a spider web and much more. There are five circuits with varying difficulty. Children aged six years and older can join in.
 
If you are looking to detach from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a trip to Bolonia beach is a perfect solution. This remarkable landmark is filled with soft golden sand and offers a plethora of space for guests to explore in-depth. This beach is a lot less crowded than its competitors and is often regarded as a hidden gem amongst the locals, but make sure to take caution on windy days as the waves can get quite fierce. If you walk down the beach, you'll come across the remains of a Roman city known as Baelo Claudia, right next to the sea.

Security deposit €2000 charged to client's credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

End of stay cleaning included? Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit

Minimum stay 7 nights during peak season. 3 nights during other periods.

    Juan’s place is very comfortable and absolutely beautiful! The decor and design are exactly to our taste. The lofts that are tastefully secured by rope posed a slight challenge for us with an adventurous two year old in tow but not enough to detour us from staying again should Juan have us back. The pool is very clean, the patio and lawn are very comfortable and the outdoor kitchen is a dream to cook and eat in. It was a wonderful stay!

    The Cave is an amazing property with a huge amount of space. Even with a large group, it felt like each couple had their own area. The house is exactly as pictured - modern and well furnished. I would suggest bringing a mesh network/ wifi extender as the wifi connection is not strong and only available in one portion of the house.

    Is the second year we decided to spend time in Tarifa and we had no doubt we had to return to this place. Amazing host beautiful place and we always feel right at home. I can only thank the host for having us again in this wonderful place and we hope to be back soon.

    Really beautiful place. Lucia and Juan were very responsive and helpful. The house is in such a special area - cows and horses and donkeys just outside the gate, ancient Roman ruins a stone’s throw away. A little tienda down the street had all the food and sundry supplies we needed. 10 min drive to the most beautiful beaches, hiking just across the street, it felt like paradise. The house is incredibly peaceful, super well designed and lots of space to spread out. One of the most special properties we’ve stayed at.
