Just imagine living 15-minutes from a sandy beach with crystal clear seawater – can you think of anything better? Casa Julivert sits within a quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by olive trees and luscious greenery, a hop skip and a jump from the beautiful Cala Canyelles Beach! Visited mainly by those staying in private villas, this tranquil beach is a real oasis away from the busy tourist beaches, your serene retreat.

Sleeping eight guests, this spacious villa is bright and modern with plenty of room for you all to spread out and relax. The interiors are decorated in a monochrome style with white walls and black window frames, contemporary furnishings and plenty of doors leading in and out, so you can combine indoor and outdoor living, making the most of the tranquil surroundings.

The ground floor is predominantly made up of a large open plan living space with sliding terrace doors opening the room out to the garden. At one end is the well-equipped kitchen with a social breakfast bar, ready and waiting for you to gather around with a bottle of Spanish wine, preparing a menu for your holiday! A large dining table, seating eight separates the lounge and kitchen, drawing everyone together for group meals and filling the open-plan space with conversation and laughter. The lounge with its fireplace and comfortable sofas offers a cosy corner to the bright room, perfect for retreating at the end of the evening, or for kids to curl up taking a break from the hot afternoon sun. A family bathroom and twin bedroom complete the ground floor, adopting the same modern styles as the living space. Upstairs you will find a second family bathroom and three further double bedrooms, all of which have access to a sunny terrace.

Once outside, Casa Julivert offers a sequence of spaces where you can enjoy outdoor living. Stepping out from the living room, a luscious lawn stretches out in front of you, wrapping its way round to the front of the house. Perfect for entertaining, there is a dining table and barbecue, so you can shelter under the shade of a tree for a long afternoon eating and chatting with your loved ones in this peaceful setting. Stone steps lead down to the pool terrace, bordered with sun loungers the pool is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days and is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike!

  • Cala Canyelles beach offers coarse white sand, made of a mix of sand and small pebbles, so you may prefer to bring shoes to walk with.

Casa Julivert is located in the tranquil resort of Cala Canyelles, with the beach just a 10 to 15-minute walk away from the front door! Coarse white sand and crystal-clear seawater await you in this peaceful cove, with a beachfront restaurant and a water sports stand – you can spend all day on the picturesque shore. Cala Canyelles beach is mainly frequented by those staying in the private villas around the beach, making it much quieter than the beaches in the neighbouring towns of Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar. The restaurant serves up fresh paellas and seafood, with the pristine beach stretching out in front of you and clear blue skies overhead you can sit for hours enjoying the delicious food and watching boats steer in and out of the marina.

Whilst quiet and tranquil around the villa itself, the energetic town of Lloret de Mar is only 4km away, and the Medieval old town of Tossa de Mar is only 6km from the villa so that you can visit both with ease. Lloret de Mar has shops, supermarkets and a wide array of restaurants for you to choose from, catering to every need. This vibrant town is popular with young people, families and couples alike for its long sandy beach, seafront restaurants and animated nightlife. The summer months see the streets alive with crowds, flowing out of theatre shows, jam-packed concerts and colourful festivities! You will hear the song of Spanish guitar as you wander the streets, picking out a quaint tapas bar to have a sit-down and relax, soaking in the atmosphere with a glass or two of Spanish wine. The beach is always busy, with sunbathers, water sports and boat trips all in one place. Offering plenty of facilities, including toilets and changing rooms, you can enjoy a full day here.

Tossa de Mar, found in the opposite direction is a historical walled seaside town. You can get there by car, or take the more scenic option, jumping in a boat and travelling by sea! As you motor down the Costa Brava coast, the rugged cliffs will eventually give way to the fortified stone walls and turrets jutting out of the rock-like stone trees. The towns busy beach stretches out alongside the old town walls, filled with colourful umbrellas, sun loungers and the usual happy bustle of beachgoers! The narrow winding streets of the old town invite you to explore, with the opportunity to climb up to the walls themselves, grasping striking views across the Mediterranean. A little quieter than Lloret, the charm and character of Tossa is a welcome change, perfect for a day exploring.

Both kids and adults love this rugged coastline for its charming seaside towns, sandy beaches, thrilling water parks and the endless activities and amenities on offer. For beach lovers and active adventurers alike, the area has something for everyone.

Casa Julivert itself offers a spacious and modern holiday home, with plenty of room to enjoy time as a family. From the moment you arrive, energetic kids will see the large garden wrapping around the property, dropping their bags to run and play on the grass! Equipped with a dining table and barbecue, we’re sure you’ll enjoy plenty of time in this generous outdoor space, dining al-fresco and relaxing in the sunshine. Steps lead down to the pool terrace, where kids will find even more delight. Separated, you can continue to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the garden whilst kids cause havoc in the pool! There is no fence around the pool edge so that the youngest ones may need some supervision.

The highlight of Casa Julivert must be finding Cala Canyelles Beach just a 10-15minute walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with very little traffic, so kids will be safe as you wander down to the sandy shore. Activities like pedal boats, parasailing, water-skiing and canoeing are on offer at the beach much to children’s pleasure. There is also a beachfront restaurant, with plenty of options for little ones, so you can all take a break from cooking, sharing a large paella on the beach!

In Lloret de Mar you can enjoy the huge beach with its array of facilities, restaurants, shops and water sports. Whilst in Tossa de Mar you can wonder the narrow-cobbled streets with your kids, making up stories of battles in the fortress as they climb the historic walls! The winding streets are difficult to navigate with a pram, so it is a little easier to explore with older kids.

Lloret boasts one of Europe’s largest water parks, Water World. A must visit, you’ll be surprised how much fun it is for kids and adults alike, boasting twenty water slides, lazy rivers and an Olympic size pool, easily providing a full day of entertainment. Little ones will love the nearby Gnomo Park, a fun forest adventure park with lots of games and lots of gnomes. Older children will be enthusiastic about visiting Arbre Aventura, a woodland adventure park with zip lines, swing bridges and all sort of obstacles to keep them busy!

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €150 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time Between 4.30 - 8 pm
Departure time 10 am
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €120, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Sheets and towels can be hired on site for an extra cost of €8 per person per week (paid locally).
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access not included in rental price, extra cost of €50 per week to be paid upon arrival.
Minimum stay 3 nights
Changeover day Friday during peak season.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €35 per pet per week will apply (paid locally).
Smoking Allowed? Not permitted.
Tax Tourist Tax of €1 per person per day for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs Cot and high chair available at an extra cost of €35 per item per week.
