Sea views and seemingly endless sunshine await you at Villa Faig, a charming and traditional property perched on the hillside above Blanes. Just 3km from the town centre, you have the vast and varied amenities of Blanes nearby, whilst being able to enjoy all the peace and tranquillity of your own private villa at the property.
The villa itself is charming, located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, among the other properties looking to benefit from the same beautiful views. It's peach coloured exterior, and stone-paved terrace welcome you in, with the traditional interiors making you feel truly at home. The villa’s ground floor boasts three bedrooms, a family bathroom and the villa’s fabulous, fully equipped kitchen, offering easy access to the patio so you can come and go as you please. The spacious kitchen hosts a small breakfast table and a breakfast bar, creating a social space where you can gather together, sharing in the joy of cooking before sitting down to dine together!
Upstairs, the first-floor plays host to the final three bedrooms, a second family bathroom and a cosy open plan living area. Adopting the same traditional styles as the rest of the villa, you can relax on the sofas, enjoy a meal around the dining table or simply gaze out at the views, enjoying the comfort of the indoors. Accommodating twelve guests, the bedrooms comprise of four double rooms, a twin room and a single room, with a spare sofa bed in one of the double bedrooms. Each room is simply decorated with comfortable beds, storage for your belongings and just enough space to enjoy quiet moments of privacy.
Villa Faig’s best feature has to be the outdoor space. Poised above the town, you can gaze down across the rooftops, with the blue azure of the Mediterranean shimmering beyond. A covered outdoor dining area sits adjacent to the villa, within easy reach of the kitchen and a barbecue; we wouldn’t be surprised if you ate all your meals out here! The terrace stretches out, with small seating areas, sun loungers and of course the private swimming pool, where you can cool off and relax, immersing yourself in the holiday atmosphere!

About the surrounding area of Villa FaigPerched above Blanes, commonly known as the Gateway to the Costa Brava, Villa Faig boasts beautiful views out across the shimmering Mediterranean. The local neighbourhood is very quiet, ideal for families with a calm, family-friendly feel. You can bask in the sun on your private terrace, admiring the views through the day, and then venturing into the town, just 3km away when you desire a little more liveliness! There are an Aldi supermarket and a handful of restaurants within a 20-minute walk of the villa, making it easy to collect your essentials, or pop for a meal out without needing to drive.
The Costa Brava embraces the coastal region of Catalonia in north-eastern Spain, stretching from Blanes, 60 km northeast of Barcelona, to the French border. Famed for its warm climate, stunning beaches, delicious food, local wines and a bustling tourism community, the Costa Brava gets more and more popular each year, drawing visitors from all over the world. The summer months see the coastal towns come alive with local festivals and music performances, whilst in the winter a more tranquil and quieter atmosphere awaits.
Blanes itself, a short drive from Villa Faig has become one of the Costa Brava’s top family destinations, offering a slightly calmer way of life compares to its busy neighbours to the north, Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar; both of which are well worth a visit during your stay! Blanes boasts 4km of golden sandy beaches, most with calm seas that are safe for kids and adults alike to enjoy.
With most beaches being awarded the ‘blue flag’ rating, you can rest assured the seawater is clean and up to current eco-standards. With a myriad of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and tapas bars, you can find everything you need in the town and more. We would recommend heading to the daily fruit and vegetable market to buy some local produce, finishing your groceries with some freshly caught fish, to grill on the barbecue at Villa Faig!
The botanical gardens in Blanes, Marimurtra is another must-visit during your stay. They are considered to be one of the best botanical gardens in Europe, with stunning views across the Mediterranean, providing a dramatic backdrop to the sensational gardens.

The Costa Brava is well known as a popular family holiday destination, with plenty on offer to suit kids of all ages, from adventurous water sports, to sandy beaches and historical sites to explore!
The villa itself has both a twin bedroom and a single room that would suit kids well and with a cot available on request. The spacious kitchen, with its breakfast bar and table, makes feeding little ones a breeze, with plenty of space for them to sit down and relax whilst you keep busy cooking – or maybe they can even get involved! Children are sure to love the experience of dining al-fresco, with the pool so nearby, that they can hop straight out and join you around the table.
The views over Blanes and the glimmering Mediterranean Sea make it clear how nearby it is! We are sure your kids will be raring to go, with their beach gear at the ready, and big smiles on their faces as they dream up sandcastles and seaside adventures. Blanes is just 3km from Villa Faig, boasting over 4km of golden sandy beaches, with safe, calm seas that kids can happily enjoy! These sheltered beaches have all the facilities you need, including showers, toilets, refreshments and lifeguards, making it even easier to relax.
At the two largest beaches, Platja de Blanes and S’Abanell, there is a selection of water sports on offer for the most adventurous among your little ones, with beach volley, windsurfing, water-skiing, parasailing, sailing, boat trips and more! Blanes was, in fact, the first coastal town in the Costa Brava to obtain the ‘Family Tourism Destination' Certificate from the Catalan Tourism Agency, and with the beaches honing ‘Blue Flag’ ratings, you can rest assured the seawater is clean and safe for yourselves and your kids to enjoy. With plenty of families choosing to stay in Blanes for these reasons, the local restaurants are well equipped to cater for children. Many will offer you kid’s menus, with high-chairs available for their customers.
Waterworld, a fantastic water park, is just a 10-minute drive from the villa and cannot be missed. Known as the best waterpark on the coastline and one of the biggest in Europe, there are plenty of water slides, wave pools, and kids’ areas to keep the whole family entertained!
