Surrounded by a natural park, and situated just outside Barcelona, sits this ultra-modern six-bedroom villa. The property is a unique space and set out over five floors, with each floor boasting charm and personality.
On the ground floor, you’ll find plenty of entertainment; here, you can rack up the balls on the billiard table, enjoy a game of ping pong or table football, and try your hand at electronic darts. There’s even an arcade machine with more than 35,000 games! From this floor, an elevator and stairs lead to the next level, where there’s a handy laundry room, while on the second floor, there is a neat bedroom with a small en-suite bathroom.
Four more bedrooms can be found on the third floor with two king-size beds and two twin beds, all with their own bathroom. The bedrooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors and sea-facing terraces, but it’s the colourful artworks and funky memorabilia that make each room one-of-a-kind. There’s also office space and a fully equipped gym on this floor, but if you’d rather take it easy, step outside and relax in the landscaped vertical garden.
The remaining bedroom is the main suite and is situated across the whole fourth floor. It’s impressive both in size and design. Here you’ll find huge glass doors overlooking the city and coastline and underwater windows facing the swimming pool. In the morning, step onto your own private terrace and breathe in the sea air or take it easy on the lovely outdoor swing and sofa. Back inside, playful touches abound with colourful LED lighting and glossy white furniture complementing a huge bed, walk-in shower, freestanding bath and massage table.
The funky decor continues upstairs to the fifth floor and open-plan living area. Once again, glass doors drench the space in natural, uplifting light while modern artwork and a Roche Bobois Arabic-style sofa add splashes of colour. There’s also a modern kitchen featuring high-end appliances and a dining area, where a steel table seating 14 people overlook glorious sea views.
While the interior is gorgeous, the outdoor area is equally stunning. With plenty of shady spots and sun loungers, you’ll soon be feeling at ease. Laze by the dazzling pool, relax in the hot tub or sauna, or simply grab a cool drink and chill out in the garden on the LED-lit furniture. And if you can tear yourself away from all this fabulousness, Barcelona, with its many shops, restaurants, and nightclubs, is just a 20-minute drive away while Badalona beach is 10 minutes by car.

About the surrounding area of Villa Ibicenco BarcelonaVilla Ibicenco is located in Mas Ram, Badalona, just 15 minutes outside Barcelona. Surrounded by a national park, it’s a tranquil area that also allows you to take advantage of the city. The gently sloping hillside offers plenty of walking trails and excellent scenic views, while the nearby sandy beaches are clean and not crowded. Badalona beach is the most popular beach in the area, just a 10-minute drive from the villa. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a swim in the sea, but if you're feeling more energetic, you can try your hand at jet skiing or paddle surfing.
Afterwards, brush off the sand and head to the pretty promenade, where you’ll find a good selection of snack bars and restaurants. Away from the seafront, Badalona’s central boulevard is an interesting place for a stroll and is full of lively cafes, restaurants and shops. Be sure to stop at the museum of Badalona and learn about the history of the city (the city dates back to prehistoric times), then take a tour of the Anis del Mono distillery. The distillery dates back 150 years and still produces Badalona's famous aniseed-flavoured liqueur using traditional processes. Afterwards, sample a glass or two, then have your photo taken with the bronze monkey statue that sits outside.
For more historical attractions, guests staying at Villa Ibicenco can reach vibrant Barcelona in just 20 minutes. Stroll along La Rambla with its vibrant bars and restaurants and admire Barcelona’s cathedral. Gothic in style, it dates back to the fourteenth century and is one of the city's most magnificent structures. Other not-to-be-missed attractions include Museu Picasso and Gaudi's awe-inspiring La Sagrada Familia. With so many attractions in Barcelona, it's impossible to see them all in one day.
Instead, take your time and be sure to stop for a bite to eat at one of the many superb restaurants. The Old Town is a charming area with a delightful maze of streets and a great spot for a leisurely lunch and drink. While there is plenty to see and do in Barcelona (the city also boasts a Chocolate Museum, Olympic and Sports Museum, and amusement park), come evening, the place is packed with partygoers. Barcelona is known to be one of the world’s best party cities, so be prepared for a range of exciting entertainment and all-night dancing.

Best Suited For: All AgesChildren will love Villa Ibicenco with its modern design, huge living areas and outdoor space. On the ground floor, there’s a games room packed full of entertainment. Kids can enjoy playing billiards, ping pong, electronic darts, or even choosing one of the 35,000 games on the arcade machine. Afterwards, they can kick back on the comfy sofa in the lounge and watch a favourite film on the 87-inch television. Older children can also keep active in the gym and afterwards take a soak in the Jacuzzi.
But when the sun is shining, kids of all ages will want to spend most of their time outdoors. They can explore the vast, landscaped exterior with its waterfall, fishpond and artificial river and splash to their heart’s content in the dazzling swimming pool. After a day of activity, there are a number of terraces to relax on and a funky sofa in the chill-out area where colourful LED lighting creates an ambient mood.
Surrounded by a natural park, Villa Ibicenco invites outdoor living. Children can hike or cycle through the woodland, or if they want to feel the sand between their toes, it’s a 10-minute drive to the beach. Badalona beach is a good choice with its fine sand and clear Mediterranean waters, and here kids can try their hand at jet skiing and paddle boarding. Afterwards, grab an ice cream at one of the beachside chiringuitos, then take a stroll along the 275m long pier. It stretches out to sea and offers up panoramic views of the city and coast.
For a full day of activity, head to Barcelona!. The city offers plenty to interest kids with street performances on La Rambla, an aquarium (where the more adventurous can swim with sharks) and a zoo featuring lions, elephants, giraffes, and dolphin shows. There are also a number of museums dotted about the city, but those most likely to catch the kids' interest are the Chocolate Museum and Cosmocaixa (science museum). At the Chocolate Museum, children can learn about the history of chocolate, view chocolate models and, of course, sample plenty of the creations. Alternatively, they can explore the cosmos at the giant, interactive science museum. But for more hair-raising adventure, head to Barcelona’s Tibidabo amusement park. It features 30 attractions, including a Ferris Wheel, pirate ship, Lego area and a ghoulish house of horrors. Once the children have exhausted the rides, they can splash in the water fountains and cool off with a cool drink from the cafe.

The water/electricity should not be left on when not in use or when there is nobody in the villa. Should the expenses be excessive, the guests shall pay the respective figure. |
| Linen & towels included? | Yes, included in the rental price and changed weekly. Extra bedding and towels can be requested at a cost of €50. |

| End of stay cleaning included? | €700, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit. |

| Insurance | Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay. |
| Stag & Hen Do's Allowed? | Weddings, stag/hen parties and any special events are on request only and subject to prior arrangement with the owner and additional charges. Please note that any event rental may be subject to additional charges, venue hire fees and to a higher security deposit, which will be in addition to any published rental rates and fees. |
| Other Ts and Cs | Guests are supplied with two sets of keys, all opening several different doors on all floors. In the event of any keys being lost, guests will be required to pay a fine which will be taken from the security depost (and with an invoice presented). The charge for losing the fourth and third floor key is €1200 and the charge for the main house key is €3600. Additionally, in the event that guests require the villa staff to open the doors for them, they will be subject to a weekday service charge of €280 and a weekend/holiday charge of €380 plus the cost of the service following the current locksmith companies rates. In the event that a locksmith has to be called out for a locking malfunction due to abuse of the key or other device, guests will be required to pay the current companies rates. |
| Other 2 | There is a current schedule for villa services, as part of the rental price, that guests should be aware of: General housekeeping: 5-6 days a week, in the morning. Outdoors maintenance: every Monday, including cleaning furniture. Pond filtration: Twice a week in summer and weekly in winter. Pool maintenance: Weekly in summer and every two weeks in winter. House staff will enter the villa through the seperate entrance, only with the housekeeper. |
