This beautiful renovated Spanish farmhouse, built in 1800, is situated amongst acres of vineyards just moments from the coastal town of Vilanova I la Geltru, and only 10 minutes driving from the vibrant bohemian city of Sitges. Protected by lush vegetation and offering up a delightful array of traditional features, this charming Catalan hideaway is the perfect choice for those looking for a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

Covered with bougainvillaea and plant creepers, on arriving at Villa Lucia, you’ll immediately appreciate its typical Catalan charm; inside, you’ll be greeted with high ceilings, wooden beams, open-hearth fireplaces and even the original doorknobs. The vast open living space is elegant and homely, with luxurious seating and a library centred around a beautiful fireplace. There is also a rustic dining area with a large wooden table for entertaining, offering lovely views of the lush surroundings. There is also a well-equipped kitchen for cooking up a storm when you don’t require the services of the chef on offer.

Upstairs, the traditional charm continues with five delightful bedrooms with twin beds and one with four singles. All offer guests the utmost in comfort with lovely wooden furniture, attractive tiled floors, seating areas and in some rooms, the cosy addition of an open fireplace and access onto an enchanting sun terrace. And with glorious views out onto the countryside, you’ll love to open the large windows and let the warm breeze float in. There are also four splendid bathrooms, one of which is en-suite, and most offering luxurious baths to relax in and enjoy that spectacular scenery.

The outside space here at Villa Lucia is tremendous. With an abundance of shaded seating and dining areas on the terrace leading on to perfectly kept gardens with an extensive array of beautiful fauna and flora, you’ll feel truly at peace in this idyllic paradise. And what more can you want than a large enticing swimming pool to cool off in after a long afternoon spent lounging under the Mediterranean sunshine. Just perfect.

With a long maritime and fishing history, the charming coastal town of Vilanova I la Geltru is a fantastic little find just 9km from Sitges and 50km from Barcelona. Sitting along 6km of beautiful sandy beaches, where rolling hills meet the Mediterranean Sea, and boasting a rich cultural heritage, Vilanova I la Geltru is a great place to base yourself for an enjoyable holiday.

There are several local attractions, from a Maritime museum to local wine cellars, where you can sample their many delights. The town boasts an array of shops and bars, and of course, you must indulge in its fishing tradition and try one of the many fantastic seafood restaurants in the area. You will, however, want to explore the entire Garraf region, as Vilanova, I la Geltru has perfectly placed just a ten-minute drive to one of the jewels in the Mediterranean's crown, Sitges.

This unspoilt seaside town, full of style and culture, is known as Barcelona-on-Sea. With miles of pristine beaches, charming narrow streets, palm tree-lined promenade and a truly bohemian spirit, there is a reason why its population rises from 25,000 to 100,000 in the summer months!

The town offers a fantastic variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all budgets. The nightlife is extremely varied, with a thriving gay scene. There are some museums, art galleries, a market, Port d'Aiguadolc and various sporting activities on offer, including water sports, golf, tennis, and horse-riding. And the town loves a festival so do check before you go, as you won't want to miss out. This city knows how to throw a party!

Casa de Campo is always popular with families, with it's spacious interior, and even bigger exterior! Kids will have ample opportunity to run around and play on the property. The villa offers the perfect holiday location for the whole family, within the villa itself and the surrounding area.

Sitges itself is a fantastic family destination, with more than 300 days of sun a year! The wide, golden beaches are enough alone to keep any younger visitors happy and entertained, with several beaches scattered along the nearby coast. The sandy beaches closer to the town centre are the best suited for families, as along the promenade are fantastic facilities and children can cycle and roller skate to their heart's content!

The nearby Terramar Park is another popular spot for families, with playgrounds, trees and picnic areas for the whole family to enjoy, perfect for an afternoon away from the villa.

For a guaranteed day of fun, Tarragona is just 40km south from Stiges, boasting the huge Aqua León Water Park and Zoo, with slides and water attractions to keep you busy throughout the day! You can catch a bus directly from the Stiges tourist office, so you don’t even need a car!

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €2000 charged to client's credit card 30 days before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm. Please be aware that a late arrival may incur a charge to the property managers. Please communicate with them appropriately if you believe you will arrive late to the property.
Departure time 10 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price. From November to April, both included, there is an extra charge of €250 for heating and electricity consumption, payable to Oliver's Travels 30 days before arrival.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price. From November to April, both included, there is an extra charge of €250 for heating and electricity consumption, payable to Oliver's Travels 30 days before arrival.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €300, payable to Oliver's Travels 30 days before arrival. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is included in rental price. It is good to note that the speed is dependent on the local provider and technical issues may cause reduced speed or cut of service.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
Changeover day Saturday. All other days on request.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €100 per pet per day will apply and this is payable to Oliver's Travels 30 days before arrival.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Pool heating charge? Not available.
Tax Catalonia Tourist Tax is included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
