Chalet Danielle is a welcoming alpine retreat located in Méribel’s peaceful Morel neighbourhood, sitting at an altitude of 1600m. With four comfortable bedrooms sleeping up to seven guests, this charming chalet blends rustic character with practical design – the perfect base for families or small groups keen to explore the legendary Three Valleys.

Positioned just 300m from the Morel chairlift, access to the slopes is extremely easy. Skiers can connect directly to the Altiport area and enjoy a scenic return via the gentle Hulotte blue run. A free resort shuttle also runs to La Chaudanne, where you'll find a wider lift network and Méribel’s lively après-ski. Local restaurants and shops are on your doorstep in Morel, while the village centre is just a 10-minute walk away.

Méribel offers 150km of pistes within the resort and over 600km across the interconnected Three Valleys ski area. Its authentic Savoyard charm, woodland surroundings and family-friendly amenities – including an Olympic sports centre, climbing wall, tobogganing and spa facilities – make it a standout choice for winter holidays.

Inside, Chalet Danielle offers a warm, sociable layout. The open-plan living area features a roaring fireplace and plush seating, ideal for cosy evenings in. The adjacent kitchen and dining space is well-equipped and full of Alpine touches, leading out to a balcony with beautiful mountain views.

Accommodation is arranged over two levels. The ground floor includes a twin bedroom and shared bathroom, while upstairs you’ll find a snug single, a twin with balcony access, and a double bedroom with ensuite and private balcony. A stylish family bathroom completes the upper floor, with sloping ceilings adding to the chalet’s authentic atmosphere.

Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel. 

At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area. 

The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.

Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!
