Ski Chalet Modern Wellness Self-Catered Ideal for Kids Hot Tub Walk to Village Laptop Friendly Workspace Parking Space

Majestic peaks, dewy white pistes, ultra-modern luxury — Chalet Blanchot is a winter retreat that is second to none.

Comprising three levels, this family-friendly five-bedroom chalet accommodates ten people. Nestled in the heart of Meribel village, it’s part of the Les Allues valley — one of the largest and most celebrated ski areas in the world. Take the Gold chairlift and make memories on some of the most pristine slopes that you’ll ever see.

The chalet brings together the unfussy charm of an Alpine ski cabin with the luxuries of modern living. Large windows allow plenty of natural night and open onto a sprawling south-facing terrace. The terrace is fitted with a bubbling jacuzzi which is ideal for post-ski relaxation. You can also pamper yourself to some me-time in the exclusive massage room.

As night falls, fire up the BBQ and treat yourself to delicious local meats.

The living room exudes warmth and tranquillity, with clean modern lines, comfy couches and graceful furnishing. Settle around the central fireplace and regale each other with stories from the day. Catch up on your favourite shows on the TV.

The large dining table is perfect for meals with family and friends. If you’re staying with toddlers, you can request the staff for high chairs.

Whip up your own delicious fondue using the fondue appliance. The kitchen is open-plan and fully-furnished, with glossy countertops and modern cabinetry. It includes a device with grill stone, dishwasher, dryer and freezer.

The chalet is kitted with a large garage, boots warmer, outdoor furniture and ample parking space.

All five bedrooms are bright and airy, with beautiful views. One is located on the ground floor and features a double bed which can be separated into twin beds. It also has a TV and wardrobe. The bathroom is ensuite and contains a bathtub, shower, hair dryer, double sink and independent toilet.

The remaining four bedrooms are on the first floor. The second bedroom has two double beds, while the third has one double bed. Bedroom five comes with a double bed, which is separable. Bedroom six features two single beds. All four of them have TVs and wardrobes. Each has an en-suite bathroom, with a shower, towel dryer, hair dryer, independent toilet and single sink. There is also an extra water closet on the same floor.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the chalet takes great pride in its ultra-efficient and courteous housekeeping services. Daily maintenance and cleaning are available during your stay. End of stay cleaning is also provided.

As part of the scenic Les Trois Vallées — the largest ski area in the world, Chalet Blanchot promises an unforgettable time.

The Resort

Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.

At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.

The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.

Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!

The chalet is a safe and fun-filled haunt for kids. There is plenty of space for them to roam freely, build snowmen and play-fight with snowballs.

Accompany them on hiking, horse riding and cycling adventures. After a long day outdoors, they can watch their favourite cartoons in the TV lounge or play indoor games. They can enjoy comforting bubble baths in the cosy jacuzzi. If you wish to arrange for high chairs or baby cots, our staff will be happy to help.

Blessed with an enviable location, the chalet is also at an easy distance from nursery slopes, delightful ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. The staff will be happy to help you with details about ski schools and kid-friendly activities in the neighbourhood.

Meribel is a dream destination for the entire family, with many activities specially designed for kids.

Head to Olympic Park and spend a gala time in the ice-skating rink. The little ones won't get enough of the bowling alley which has a few lanes specifically meant for children over three. Spend hours of splashy fun in the indoor swimming pool, which includes a kids’ section.

Watch children's films every evening at Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen cinema hall. Take an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snowy forests and majestic peaks at Courchevel Altiport, which is about 45 mins by car from Meribel Centre.

After all of the excitement, the little ones would surely have worked up an appetite. At Rond Point restaurant, they can enjoy the best ice cream sundaes in town. For something savoury, dip into a bowl of gooey fondue at La Fromagerie.
