Engulfed by beguiling snow-capped peaks, Apartment Ourson 6 is a delightful ski-in/ski-out home with two bedrooms for five guests. Nestled in Méribel Village, it’s located in the valley of Les Allues — one of the largest and most appealing ski destinations in the world.
Spend your time enjoying the apartment’s prime location. Explore long, uninterrupted slopes or burn extra calories in the gym nearby. Make the most of the free access to the wellness centre and relax your aching muscles in the hammam and sauna. An indoor pool is at a close distance, perfect for a leisurely afternoon.
The interiors are equally charming. Breezy terraces look as delightful in soft daylight as they do covered in pillowy snow.
The living area combines a traditional Savoyard taste with modern elements. Warm and sumptuous, it’s adorned with shiny wooden accents and comfy furnishing. Make yourself cosy in the TV lounge and watch your favourite shows. Large sliders ooze ample natural light.
Hearty meals are best enjoyed in the indoor dining area. If you’ve toddlers along with you, you can ask for high chairs to make them comfortable. The kitchen is open-plan and roomy. Rustic wooden cabinetry is stocked with a dishwasher, coffee machine, ceramic hobs and refrigerator. Kids will love whipping up cheesy fondue using the fondue maker.
Call it a night in the ultra-comfortable bedrooms. While one features a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, the other has a bunk bed and a single bed. Two separate bathrooms are also provided.
To make your stay as welcoming as possible, the apartment takes great pride in its efficient and courteous housekeeping services.

During the winter months, Apartment Ourson 6 transforms into a winter wonderland, surrounded by endless opportunities for skiing and snow-related activities. Guests can easily access long, uninterrupted slopes for exhilarating ski adventures. The convenient ski-in/ski-out feature adds to the overall winter experience, allowing enthusiasts to make the most of their time on the slopes. After a day of outdoor excitement, guests can unwind in the apartment's wellness center, complete with a hammam, sauna, and an indoor pool for a relaxing afternoon. Meribel is an enthralling ski resort in the Valley of Allues. Home to over several rolling pistes, it’s one of the most iconic ski areas in the world. Make most of the tree-lined pistes of Mont Vallon, the Saulire, the Tougnete and the Plattieres. High-powered, ultra-modern ski lifts allow easy transportation back and forth.
The village of Meribel is a short distance from Meribel Centre. An oasis of tranquillity, it’s at an altitude of 1400 metres. Experience its wonderful wooden and stone chalets. Visit its rustic chapel and feel like you have stepped into the pages of history. The village square is a township in itself, with free car parking, supermarkets, cake shops, eateries and a sports store. Relish heavenly Savoyard cuisine and French gourmet. Listen to live music après ski at Lodge du Village.
The residence is also close to a range of boutiques, culinary escapades and nightlife. Winter sports junkies are spoilt for choice with all sorts of activities, including snowshoeing, dog sledging and heliskiing.
Even if you come across unpleasant weather, there are plenty of things to do. The Olympic Park by La Chaudanne has a 25-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and climbing walls. Explore La Chaudanne and stop by its host of shops, vibrant restaurants and cosy pubs. There are options for every kind of pocket. Grab lunch on the terrace of La Cantine d'Alvar, against the stunning backdrop of Mont Vallon. Relish decadent Indian food at Tsaretta Spice and gooey fondues at La Fromagerie.
Hike along 25 kms of picturesque trails around the valley. Forage through lush villages, frozen lakes and serene peaks. Post 3pm every day, you can catch twinkling cabaret acts, live performances and dancers in extravagant costumes at La Folie Douce Méribel-Courchevel.

The Resort
Méribel is a village with a true alpine heart. You won’t find blocks of hotels and purpose-built facilities here. Instead, the compact and lively town centre is picture-postcard perfect, and its atmosphere is quaint and fairytale-like. It is without a doubt the most romantic resort in the area and if you’re planning a couples holiday in the snow you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at Méribel.
At the centre of the world famous Trois Vallées (Three Valleys), Méribel makes up part of the largest ski domain in the world. Across the valleys, it has six sister resorts. You can either get a single-resort lift pass and keep to the fantastic beginner and intermediate terrain there, but you also have the option of purchasing a pass that covers the whole area.
The advanced lift system at Méribel will let you maximise your time on the snow and make sure you’re not waiting around in queues. With 67 runs to try out just in the resort itself, there is no time to be wasted. Just beware of the afternoon sun cutting things short on the west-facing slopes and prepare to get up with the sun if you’re after untouched powder. At it’s highest skiing point Méribel reaches an altitude of 2952 metres and the descent from this point is known to be one of the most scenic runs around.
Aside from the world-class skiing, Méribel is also known to be one of the liveliest resorts in the Three Valleys. Many of its residents and bar-owners (as well as plenty of its visitors) are expat-Brits who certainly know how to party. The après-ski scene here is truly top-notch!

Kids can spend their time building snowmen and play-fighting with snowballs. Keep them occupied with many activities such as hiking, horse riding and cycling.
If they want a break afterwards, they can watch cartoons on the TV. Head to the pool for some indoor fun or turn the bedroom into a venue for an exciting slumber party.
The apartment is also close to nursery slopes, ice-skating rinks and other kid-friendly winter activities. Enquire about ski schools in the area from the staff for a fun-filled time.
Meribel offers attractions that are specially curated for kids. Head to Olympic Park and have a blast on the ice skating rink. The little ones can show off their motor skills in the bowling alley, which has a few lanes specifically for children over three.
Visit Cinéma du Mottaret, a cosy one-screen experience which shows children’s films every evening. A 45-min drive will take you to Courchevel Altiport, where you can experience an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over snow-covered hills.
After all of this adventure, the little ones would have surely worked up an appetite.
At Rond Point restaurant, they can devour the best ice cream sundaes in town. For something savoury, dig into a bowl of fondue at La Fromagerie.
