The living areas are simply stunning, with an elegantly furnished open plan living and dining space. Decorated with plush sofas and armchairs, a wood-burning fireplace, and large windows that flood the space with natural light, Chalet Joelle’s lounge is truly the heart of the home. Your dining area is adjacent to the living room and can comfortably seat all ten guests around its large table, while a fully-equipped modern kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious home-cooked meals for your family and friends.
Four stylish bedrooms are spread over three levels, each offering privacy and comfort with comfortable furnishings, beautiful mountain views, and a private en-suite bathroom.
After a long day on the slopes, you can indulge in the chalet's additional amenities such as the outdoor hot tub and a spacious indoor cinema room which is for movie nights with family and friends.

What you should know…
- If you’re planning on travelling with young children and require provisions such as baby cots and highchairs, please request them at the point of booking to ensure they are set up at the chalet before your arrival
- The area around Chalet Joelle is slightly sloped and varies in elevation which may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues
- The hot tub should not be used by children under the age of five and older children should be supervised at all when using this facility

This property is located within walking distance of the area’s ski lifts, making it an ideal ski-in, ski-out choice with its fantastic access to the vast Three Valleys ski area.
To get to Chalet Joelle, your nearest airports are Geneva and Lyon. Both airports are around a two-and-a-half-hour drive away from Courchevel 1650 in a direct transfer. Both airports are well-served by rental vehicle facilities, private taxis, and shared shuttle services to the resort. Alternatively, you can drive directly to the resort from your home or a prior location thanks to the Alps’ well-maintained road network.
When in resort, you can try your hand at a wealth of other winter activities such as snowshoeing, ice skating, or tobogganing. The resort is also home to a range of high-end boutiques and restaurants, as well as a cinema and a bowling alley.
For those seeking a more relaxed experience, there are several world-class spa and wellness centres located in the Courchevel resort area. Or, for a spot of exploration, you can embark on a snowmobile tour or enjoy a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through the snow-covered landscape.

The Resort
Courchevel is made up of six satellite villages, each with their own distinct style and atmosphere, and picturesque forest roads to lead you in-between. Most well known is the illustrious Courchevel 1850 with its reputation for exclusivity and an A-List clientele. 1850 is certainly the place to go for five-star hotels, swanky bars and extravagant nightlife. The other Courchevel villages (such as Courchevel Moriond) have a much more laid back vibe and are certainly the more affordable choice.
The skiing in Courchevel is split into four levels and you can take an excellent free ski bus in between. At the resort itself you have 150 kilometres of pistes at your feet and while you can get a Courchevel lift-pass you can also ski the whole of the Three Valleys with an area-pass. Since the slopes here face north, the snow at Courchevel is more reliable than elsewhere in the Three Valleys. Courchevel pistes are absolutely unrivaled, meticulously maintained and perfectly positioned to align with the landscape.
With its highest lift at 2740m altitude, Courchevel is exceptionally good for high altitude skiing with incredible alpine views, and the most impressive runs are best suited for intermediate and advanced skiers. But for the little ones just finding their snow legs, the resort has a fantastic children’s village where they can learn in a stress-free environment. Ski season here lasts until late April and even if you prefer not to ski at all, you’ll be well entertained with everything from scenic walks to classical music concerts.
In the evenings, the Courchevel night skies are lit up by spectacular firework displays that could get anyone in the mood for a night on the town. The bars here are a good mix of casual and upmarket, so there’s plenty for all tastes to enjoy when it comes to après-ski. Courchevel also has a well-earned reputation for being the best ski resort when it comes to gastronomy.

While at home, kids can take it easy no matter where they are in the chalet thanks to the unlimited high-speed internet. In no time at all, kids can connect their personal devices to the web and stream, play and chat to their hearts’ content. For family entertainment, the living room’s TV receives international channels via satellite and there is also a dedicated cinema room in the chalet’s lower level.
The nearby Courchevel resort also has a variety of shops and restaurants suitable for families, as well as an ice-skating rink, a bowling alley and a fun-filled aquatics centre.
Ski lessons are available for children at the ESF Courchevel ski school, and there are also children's ski areas and snow gardens with activities and games to enjoy while on the mountain.
The surrounding area also has many playgrounds and parks, perfect for children to play and have fun, including several adventure parks and zip lines in the area that are suitable for children of all ages.
