THE REGION
The Troia Peninsula is one of the most beautiful coastlines of Portugal, with a 13 km stretch of pristine sands, crystal clear waters and pine forested sand dunes. Reachable by ferry from Setubal, the pristine setting of the Tróia Peninsula is unquestionably one of Portugal’s best-kept secrets.
Sheltered by mountains, the Troia Peninsula enjoys a mild microclimate. The Reserva Natural do Estuario do Sado covers part of the peninsula and is a good place to go birdwatching.
