The exterior of this property is brought to life by the considerable swimming pool that resides in the centre of the grounds. This swimming pool is completely surrounded by a contemporary decking area, giving guests a stylish place to rest and unwind. The decking area is also equipped with a collection of attractive sun loungers and parasols, offering complete shade from the soothing warmth of the sun. The outdoor areas of this property are also home to a selection of outdoor terraces. These spaces are fitted with a collection of outdoor seating and dining areas, allowing guests to enjoy a selection of delicious meals whilst basking in the incredible scenery that surrounds them.
Inside, Casa Gorgolim adheres to a simplistic yet traditional style. The living area makes use of bright white walls and tan-coloured flooring, building a stylish contrast throughout. This space also includes an off-beat green sofa and a collection of decorative furnishings. Guests are encouraged to truly indulge in this space and make time to relax whilst on holiday. The living area is also home to a circular dining table and a set of matching chairs, further creating a communal environment for guests to enjoy. The kitchen within this property exudes modernity, using sleek white cupboards and black utilities.
This property contains three incredible bedrooms to help give guests a restful night’s sleep during their time here. The first bedroom includes a large wooden double bed that is fitted with ample bedsheets. This room also contains two small armchairs and a full-length mirror to ensure that you have everything you would need to have a comfortable stay. The second bedroom is comprised of two single beds that have been pushed together to make one complete double bed. As a result, this room can be customised to either suit two children or another couple, making it incredibly versatile. Finally, the third bedroom is perfect for young children as it contains two separate single beds and plenty of storage space.

These classes often take place in Cavalos na Areia, which is just 5-minutes away from the centre of Comporta. During your time here, you will be taught the basic principles of yoga by Master Tomas Mellor Breyner, otherwise known as Mashi, an acclaimed teacher who has shared his knowledge with students around the globe. Guests will be able to practice certain moves in the beautiful natural surroundings of Comporta, adding to that irresistible sense of serenity. Prices for this type of activity are very reasonable, with one class costing just €15 per guest.
Troia Golf Course is located just 15-minutes away from the centre of Comporta and provides guests with access to some of the finest golfing facilities in Portugal. This impeccable golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and has hosted some of the most prominent tournaments in history, such as the Portuguese Open Championships in 1983. The course is made up of an assortment of small greens and bunkers, creating a unique challenge for any type of player. There is also a putting green and a driving range available for guests who are looking to refine their existing skills. Prices are fairly standard, with an 18-hole game costing around €102 per guest.
Comporta is also known for its expressive and dynamic wine industry, with authentic wineries scattered all over the region. Brejinho da Costa is a traditional winery that adheres to a multitude of authentic practices to ensure that each and every wine has a rich and delicious taste. Comporta has a remarkable diversity of natural systems with long stretches of beach, windswept dunes, scenic pine forests, salt marshes and rice paddies which become a vibrant green in June. The region is also characterized by rice fields and its main attraction, the Comporta beach: 20 kilometres of uninterrupted white sand, a beach lover’s paradise.
As with the rest of Portugal, you can expect sun-blessed weather year-round in Comporta. The best months of the year to visit Comporta for long beach stays are from June to September, while the spring and autumn months are still suitable for picnics or day trips.

If you are looking to discover more about the far-reaching history of Comporta, the Roman Ruins of Troia can help to increase your knowledge of ancient European history.
