Located in the Aroeira Golf Resort, Villa Leocadia is a two-storey villa which can accommodate up to twelve guests. Within easy reach of Lisbon, 25km away, it offers access to a host of resort facilities – as well as two championship golf courses, there’s a swimming pool, spa, four tennis courts, restaurants and a shopping centre.
Surrounded by pine forest, the villa enjoys a peaceful position and offers its private pool, garden and terrace, as well as an indoor games room with fitness equipment. Sun loungers and parasols make the area around the pool, a focal point for chilling out, with a barbecue and dining area ready for you when hunger strikes.
The villa is 4km from Praia Fonte da Telha beach, with a lengthy stretch of coast extending offering many more beaches in both directions. Bikes are available at the villa should you wish to explore the coast on two wheels.
Inside, you have an open-plan living room and dining area, with direct access from the terrace. A well-equipped kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and all the other essentials, while the games room on the lower floor offers table tennis, table football and a mini-gym.
The master suite comes with an en-suite bathroom, while the remaining three bedrooms on the ground floor – a double and two twins, one of them with bunk beds – share the use of a bathroom and shower room. Another bedroom is located on the lower floor, and has a double bed – there is also the possibility to include two single beds in this room if needed.
Beyond the excellent facilities of the golf resort and the villa itself, you have easy access to some of the best spots on the coast for water-sports, as well as the nightlife on the beachfront just a few kilometres away. You can drive to the capital in around 40 minutes, making nights out in incredible Lisbon a tempting possibility.

About the surrounding area of Villa LeocadiaThe Aroeira golf resort, dubbed the ‘Wentworth of Lisbon’ in its early years, is set amidst beautiful pine woodlands and has become a destination of choice for golfers and non-golfers alike.
With Lisbon 25km away and the beaches of the Lisbon Coast as close as 6km away, you don’t need to be handy with a five-iron to appreciate its stunning location.
The pine woods and lakes contribute to a microclimate that offers the chance to enjoy a round of golf at any time of year. With a tropical swimming pool and four tennis courts, other sporting activities are catered for too.
To the south, Praia do Meco is a cold, remote beach known for its surfing and nudism – indeed, Portugal’s go-to naturist beach. Around 11km from here, Sesimbra is gaining popularity as a resort. It’s peaceful, family-friendly and has a laid-back calm about it.
The heritage of the area is evident in churches, castles and historic buildings – the Castelo do Sesimbra offers a pleasant sea view (albeit at the end of a pretty steep climb).
For the most spectacular lookout point in the area, head for Cabo Espichel. A lighthouse and monastery sit on the dizzying cliffs, with the expansive Atlantic Ocean ahead, making this a place to go to reflect and be at one with nature – and many make the trip when visiting Lisbon, around one hour’s drive north.
Extending all the way along the coast from Sesimbra to Setúbal, the Arrábida Natural Park only adds to the wonder of the region. Whether scuba diving, hiking, dolphin spotting, or even hovering above it all in a hot-air balloon, it’s unforgettable in all the best ways.

THE REGION
Only 25 km from Lisbon, located in a protected pine woodland and close to the coastal town of Caparica, Aroeira is a unique estate comprising two golf courses. Aroeira offers golfers the perfect combination of a championship course set amidst exuberant natural surroundings.
The closest beach from Aroeira is Fonte de Telha. It is a pretty good spot for Surfers, and you will also find several choices of beach bars and restaurants to go to. The beach also offers free showers located right at the entrance near the main path in front of the parking spaces and the mini market.

Beautiful villa, centrally located
It is a beautiful villa, central location, Nice resort, close to a nice beach. Still largely real Portuguese, affordable and Lisbon just around the corner! Villa has lots of nooks and alleyways, getting used to orienting you. There is a good kitchen with all the necessities and appliances (even a wine box), shutters, swimming pool, well-kept garden, couple of nice chairs.
