Villa Bras is a contemporary home with a monochrome exterior, blending style, tranquillity and superb comfort on the Lisbon coast.
This villa offers guests an immediately restorative home. The terrace garden is comprised of decking, sun loungers, lazy sofas, elegant parasols and a glistening private pool.
Designed with outdoor living in mind, Villa Bras blends indoor and outdoor living seamlessly, by virtue of floor-to-ceiling glass doors - leading to a dining terrace and brick-built barbecue oven. Set in the shade of palm trees, guests will be able to enjoy grilled seafood from one of the local market towns, or leisurely pool-side breakfasts.
The glossy surfaces, the continued monochrome palette of the interiors create an edgy, unfussy and sultry tone. With all the quality of architectural excellence, the open-plan spaces offer informal, low-key living for a family or group.
A modern kitchen offers quality appliances, granite and chrome along with central island. At every turn, natural light pours in. Set over two storeys, up to eight guests can be accommodated across three well proportioned bedrooms. The bedrooms are serenely finished in dazzling whites, quality cotton linens and direct balcony access. Guests will be able to wander out in the morning to enjoy wooded views with their morning coffee. Uncluttered, airy and ever-so tranquil, these sleeping quarters offer all the quality of a top-rated hotel, along with the informality of a self-contained home.

About the surrounding area of Villa BrasVilla Bras is nestled in a pretty spot on the Lisbon Coast, on the periphery of the Aroeira Golf resort along with all the amenities that this offers. The closest beach is Fonte da Telha (4 km).
At the resort, guests have access to two 18 hole championship golf courses. There are tennis courts, spa, health centre and playground as well as restaurants and shops. This array of on-site facilities makes for such a relaxed stay - guests need not worry about running out of basics, or for a last minute change of dinner plans the bars and restaurant provide excellent local cuisine.
Aroeira boasts a stretch of thirty kilometres of the finest beaches in Portugal; whether it be the lively and buzzing beach at the village of Costa da Caparica, to the more wild and rugged beaches at the southern end of the stretch, visitors will not be short of choice.
This region of Portugal is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, whether it be canoeing, snorkelling, diving or surfing, the area is a water lovers’ paradise.
The beauty of the Lisbon coast is that it provides a breezy escape from the capital, whilst being home to some of Portugal’s historic jewels, which attract thousands of visitors: the ancient walled town of Obidos, the 12th century monastery at at Alcobaca, the Catholic pilgrimage site of Fatima, and the fairytale palaces of Sintra.
Lisbon itself is a vibrant and colourful city with a fascinating history; the city is rich with museums, monuments and a lively waterfront with bars and many restaurants showcasing a blend of traditional and contemporary architecture.
There are many attractive towns to visit along the Lisbon coast, such as the beautiful former fishing village of Cascais, the dynamic resort town of Estoril, or the surfer’s paradise Carcavelos or romantic town of Sintra.
Sintra deserves a mention; perched above wooded slopes, it is known for its turreted palaces, the most famous being the ornate Palacio Nacional and the pink and yellow Palacio da Pena. The town’s cool hilltop air has long attracted writers, artists and poets.

THE REGION
Only 25 km from Lisbon, located in a protected pine woodland and close to the coastal town of Caparica, Aroeira is a unique estate comprising two golf courses. Aroeira offers golfers the perfect combination of a championship course set amidst exuberant natural surroundings.
The closest beach from Aroeira is Fonte de Telha. It is a pretty good spot for Surfers, and you will also find several choices of beach bars and restaurants to go to. The beach also offers free showers located right at the entrance near the main path in front of the parking spaces and the mini market.

The beaches along the Lisbon coast are known for their rugged beauty; with circa twenty golden beaches to choose from, guests will have ample choice.
The region is dense with activities including canoeing, sailing, riding and water sports. From smaller children to teens, whether it be tennis, swimming, trekking or discovering historical sites, there is something for everyone.
Boat trips on the Sado Estuary - the river that separates the regional capital of Setubal from the Troja Peninsula - a tapestry of silvery salt flats and aquamarine water are a great family activity. Children will delight in the flocks of flamingoes and dolphins who hunt and breed in its fish rich waters.
When back at the villa, there are English speaking TV channels and Wi-Fi for when “downtime” is required. The pool will provide hours of splashy fun; children will enjoy dining outside - in particular making use of the barbecue - whilst the cool, calm bedrooms are ideal for siestas.
The convenience of the wider resort complex along with the striking natural beauty of the local region make this spot an ideal choice for families with children of all ages.

Perfect for a family holiday
A terrific villa in a quiet neighbourhood, far enough away from everything to have privacy and peace, but a close enough drive to supermarkets, shops, beautiful beaches, etc. Definitely would recommend a car if staying here.
Unfortunately, it was a little bit cloudy during our stay to use the beautiful pool as much as we would like to.
All in all it is perfect for a family holiday. -
