What you should know…
- There is no reception near the and around the villa, so make sure you inform the owners of your arrival time in advance! There is Wi-Fi in the villa however so once you are in there is no need to worry!
- We recommend renting a car to access the villa and make the most of the surrounding region
- There is no safety fence surrounding the pool, so children need to be supervised at all times

Stunning view of the Douro River!
I recently stayed at Casa Rios for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The villa is located in Peso da Régua, Portugal, and offers a stunning view of the Douro River. The swimming pool was a great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were fresh and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we enjoyed cooking our meals there.
The host- Rui was friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed (thank you)! Also the online guidebook you receive is great!
Overall, I highly recommend Casa com Alma for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location. -
I strongly recommend his place!
Everything was perfect! The location is amazing in a safe neighbourhood and close to local places. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the right address on the map. We lost half an hour to find the place. Rui is a great host and offered us a great wine tour that you don’t want to miss. I strongly recommend his place.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Incredibly beautiful place, immaculately clean, and had more than everything we needed. The pool was very nice on a hot summer day.
We were a little late checking in because we got lost, and Celia and Rui even met us and brought us to their house. They gave us a really nice welcome gift at check-in, and we mentioned it was our son’s birthday the next day and they even brought us a cake! Such kind and generous people!
It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants, and just a short walk to the riverfront walking path, which is incredibly beautiful. We cannot say enough good things about this place and the hosts Celia and Rui. We definitely recommend, and we hope to come back!
