The interior of this property is extremely attractive, showcasing an assortment of pristine design choices to build incredibly contemporary home. The living area contains a range of tall glass windows that produce an array of natural light sources as well as an unobstructed view of the garden. This space also uses a pair of comfortable grey sofas, building a soothing and tranquil place for guests to relax. The dining area is relatively unconventional, making use of a sleek glass-topped table and a set of matching rattan chairs. As such, guests can use this space to enjoy their daily meals and indulge in some quality time together as a group. The kitchen within this property is nothing short of absolute perfection combining a monochrome style with a variety of modern appliances. The ground floor is also home to a striking and luxurious bedroom. This room contains a spacious double bed that has been decorated with a set of premium linens to ensure that guests can achieve a restful night’s sleep throughout their stay.
Travelling to the other side of the property, this is where you’ll uncover the remaining three bedrooms. The second and third bedrooms also contain opulent double beds and also provide access to their own en-suite bathrooms for an added sense of privacy and convenience. The fourth and final bedroom is perfect for children, as seen by the quaint bunk bed set. In turn, children can sleep soundly and peacefully in their new home away from home.

About the surrounding area of Villa ZambujalVilla Zambujal is based in the idyllic region of Boliqueime, a location that is considered a hidden gem amongst experienced and affluent travellers. If you are looking to indulge in a bit of shopping during your stay, a trip to Albufeira Old Town is a must-do activity. This archaic fishing village is located just over 20-minutes away from the centre of Boliqueime and presents a varied range of boutique shops for guests to explore. Guests are encouraged to travel through the inspiring archways and meander through the cobbled streets, giving them a chance to absorb some of this intoxicating culture. This area is also teeming with paintings from local artists, further exemplifying the nuanced roots of this town. As a result, this is a great place to visit if you enjoy the simple act of people-watching with a fresh cup of coffee.
Boliqueime also hosts a plethora of awe-inspiring beaches, with Praia da Falesia being a fan favourite with both tourists and locals. This beach is more than 6km long and stretches all the way from Vilamoura to Olhos de Agua. The sea is remarkably clean and clear, making it ideal for swimming and other watersports activities. This landmark is also surrounded by a collection of red and orange cliffs, helping to contrast the sapphire blue nature of the sky. Praia da Falesia has also won a prestigious Blue Flag award for its utmost cleanliness and dedication to environmental conservation. This beach is situated around 15-minutes away from the centre of the region.
This entire region is centred around Boliqueime Church, which is just a stone’s throw away from the centre of the village. This iconic monument was first built in the 17th century and was deeply respected by the contemporary population. The church still holds a lot of importance to this day and is well recognised as a popular wedding venue. When the church is not filled with bustling newlyweds, it holds a moving ceremony every Sunday. Many previous guests believe that this is a must-see experience for tourists as it truly captures the collectivist and charming nature of this small village. The Priest is also said to speak very clear English, making it appropriate for tourists.

THE REGION
Boliqueime offers up a rural slice of the Algarve on Portugal's southern coast. It's right up in the hills, surrounded by pine trees and almond groves. The authentic village atmosphere comes complete with cobbled streets and a square where locals gather to play dominoes. As for beaches and nightlife, Albufeira's within a 15-minute drive.
Despite the laidback setting, there are plenty of activities nearby to keep you on your toes. Vilamoura's just a 15-minute drive away and home to a championship golf course. Meanwhile, ocean lovers can make the most of parasailing from Albufeira's marina or head out on a dolphin-watching trip.

Benagil Caves are an immensely popular landmark that can be found just over half an hour away from the centre of the region. These inspiring structures form a variety of arches, giving them a similar look to a traditional cathedral. The looming shades of yellow help to make these beautiful caves a very beautiful sight. In addition, the caves are also accompanied by a large pool of water, helping to add a few turquoise hues to this remarkable monument. Guests can also embark on a unique boat tour toward the caves, which also allows guests to take a swim in the nearby water.
If you are looking to experience a truly unconventional tourist attraction, a trip to Fiesa Sand City is a real treat. This impressive park is teeming with looming sand sculptures, creating a sense of joy and wonder in any guests who choose to walk through its doors. With around 55,000 tons of sand spread across 6 hectares of land, this establishment embodies a range of celebrities, scenes, and buildings. Guests will be able to see statues of Cristiano Ronaldo, Queen Elizabeth II, as well as Fernando Pessoa. There are also models of expressive monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and the African Serengeti. Fiesa Sand City is situated around 30-minutes away and can also be accessed through a variety of public transport networks.
Slide and Splash Water Park is located just under half an hour away and offers an assortment of thrilling water rides for guests to experience. Children can embark on a varied assortment of attractions, such as a 20-metre drop slide, a high-speed wave pool, and a collection of high-adrenaline river adventures. There is also an Olympic-sized on-site for children to use at any point to cool off from the warming sun. For a truly unique experience, try sliding down the Disco River, an immersive sliding discotheque with an array of vibrant lights and catchy tunes. Slide and Splash Water Park welcomes guests every day from 10 am till 6 pm.

Even more beautiful than in the pictures
The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures. There's actually nothing wrong about it. And we've been traveling a lot. In any case, we recommend investing in pool heating at this time of year. Then the water is 28-29 degrees and the stay is not limited. Again, 5 stars for a really, really great house. I think we'll see each other again

We had a great time. The house is well equipped and very nicely furnished. The location was perfect for us. Not too far away from the sights and yet quiet. Supermarkets are nearby and the beach (Praia da Falésia) is a maximum of 15 minutes by car. We can only recommend it!
