Pool Villa/House Modern Ideal for Kids Walk to Beach Walk to Village Parking Space

Stay in style at the seriously impressive Villa Pavle, perched on the hillside overlooking the Bay of Kotor in Tivat, on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. This architect-designed, three-storey, detached villa has four spacious double bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests, ideal for a large family holiday or group of friends’ get-together. The villa is set in its own grounds with a Mediterranean shrub garden, sea view terrace, and private infinity swimming pool. The property comes with all the mod cons, including complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout and secure parking. This five-hundred-metre squared villa is constructed of local light stone, with floor-to-ceiling sea-view windows that give access to the pool terrace and bedroom balconies. The interiors are exquisite, with dark-panelled rooms, natural wood floors, and contemporary furniture, and decorated throughout with a rich palette of shades of browns, with bright and bold colour highlights.

Enter the villa at ground floor level, where you will be welcomed by a gracious, open-plan living space with sea view picture postcard windows, which give access to the pool terrace. The seating area is panelled with a dark brown wood, a modern chandelier sheds its light on a tan leather and grey upholstery L-shaped sofa bed that can sleep up to two guests. Matching arm and tub chairs, a Perspex coffee table, and a sideboard hosting a flat-screen television completes the scene. There is a smart six-seater dining set, ideal for some formal entertaining. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with all the latest appliances you will need to cater for your holiday, including that must-have morning coffee maker. Take a stool at the stylish bar for a sundowner cocktail. The first of four well-appointed bedrooms can be found on this floor, furnished with a king-size bed, fancy wallpaper and modern artwork, an ensuite shower room, and doors that open onto the pool terrace for those who enjoy a swim before breakfast. Take the glass-fronted staircase to the first floor, where you will find three large double rooms with king-size beds, ensuite marble shower rooms, and sea-view balconies. The second floor is where you can get fit in the state-of-the-art sea view gym, equipped with modern machinery. Relax with a game of pool at the adjacent full-size table.

The outside space has breathtakingly beautiful vistas over the bay, marina, and mountains and is home to a long, centrepiece infinity swimming pool. Lie back and relax on the surrounding cream-cushioned wooden sun loungers before meeting for cocktails at the perfectly positioned seating set and admiring those mesmerising views.

Villa Pavle can be found near the holiday hot spot resort of Tivat, overlooking Kotor Bay, on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast. The villa is only two kilometres from the nearest international airport at Tivat or fifty kilometres from Dubrovnik. The nearest Belane beach is four hundred and fifty metres from the villa, and the coastline is populated with twenty more, some offering a range of exhilarating water sports, cafes, bars, and clubs.

The town of Tivat has a stunning marina, moored with luxury superyachts sailing the Med. Wine and dine, and listen to live music at seafront bars and restaurants of Porto Montenegro as you watch the world sail by. Visit the Renaissance Summer House Buca, the City Park, the island of St Mark, and the island of Flowers.

Spend the day in the old town of Perast, with the islets of St George and the six hundred-year-old, man-made Our Lady of the Rocks, complete with a church. Perast is noted for its historic Venetian Gothic mansions, a seashore promenade, the façade of a monastery with a bell tower, charming streets lined with churches, a few museums, and a beach with a pier.

Wander down the winding streets of the UNESCO-protected town of medieval Kotor to discover Venetian influence social squares, Romanesque churches, Kotor Cathedral, the Maritime Museum, and preserved city walls.

The Kamenari to Lepetane ferry takes you to the Budva Riviera, famous for its soft sandy beaches and lively nightlife. Stroll the narrow streets to the historic old town, a seaside citadel surrounded by stone walls, and home to ninth-century churches.

For those who fancy something more active, you can try white water rafting down the Tara River, speed boating, and jet skiing on the sea. For some culture, take a tour around the historic palaces of Bujovic, Viskovic, Smekja, and Sestokrilovic. Get back to nature with a walk around the Durmitor National Park and Black Lake. Have a day trip to the historic city of Dubrovnik, walk the medieval walls, and see where Game of Thrones was filmed.

Montenegro loves a festival highlighting its traditions and cultures, check out what’s on and where when you visit.

About the Region & Getting There

About the Bay of Kotor

The Bay of Kotor, or Boka, has been a World Heritage Site since 1979, so be assured of its captivating scenery that includes; a Venetian old town, a Fortress, Roman Mosaics, churches and a glistening cove that all culminate to provide guests with an exceptional holiday destination.

Sailing through the fjord you will notice the Orjen Mountains along the west, and the Lovćen Mountain range curling around the east, which outline this spellbinding landscape. As you enter through the bay you are greeted by a man-made islet that is home to Our Lady of the Rocks Church and a museum. This is the first of many reminders that you are about to reach a region of Montenegro that is famed for its natural scenery and poignant architecture.

The Bay of Kotor is made up of four cornerstones - Lastva, Morinj, Stoliv and the most renowned Tivat. Within these villages you are able to find iconic landmarks such as St Petka Church and St Mary’s Church, or for something a little less pious; simply enjoy Tivat Marina and Gornji Stoliv’s Olive grove & Fig orchard.

Travel inland and strap on a pair of hiking boots as you explore Lovcen National Park. Although it is about an hours drive from the Bay, it really is worth the day trip! Whether you’re travelling with a Botanists, Ecologist, Entomologist or Zoologist; they will be pleased to know that there’s an immeasurable number of species that include birds, insects, bears, wolves and some breath-taking flora & fauna.

We urge holidaymakers to make the most of Kodor! This charming town has everything you need to forget the day-to-day tribulations of home life. Not only does this small medieval refuge have a host of cafes & restaurants, but there are some must see attractions like the Maritime Museum, the Cats Museum of Kotor, Cats of Kotor Shop and St. John’s Hill. The perfect retreat for a family in need of sun, sea & sentiment.

Prior to Booking

As many of our regions in Montenegro are coastal, there can sometimes be some adverse weather. This tends to only really occur outside of the Peak Season though. When thinking about booking your holiday to Montenegro, please consult Foreign travel advice for more information.
