Nestled within the heart of a private gated community in Playa Del Carmen is Casa Clara, a stunning seven bedroom property that accommodates up to fourteen guests and features open garden areas, ground pool, and private infinity pool. Casa Clara is perfect for those looking for that combination of tranquility and privacy, located just steps away from powdery white sands and the turquoise of the Carribbean Sea.

The villa features huge floor-to ceiling glass doors that bring the outdoors in, and vice versa, and guests will notice that the luxurious contemporary style of the outside living areas continue through to the interior. The villa features elegant marble flooring, handsomely crafted furniture in rich dark woods, and plush sofas and seating areas in shades of white and cream. There are several beautiful pieces of modern art throughout the villa, both on the walls and as free-standing sculptures, that add splashes of colour and give the villa a contemporary and exotic edge. The well-equipped kitchen features all modern amenities, including electric oven and microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher.

There is also a bar area - perfect for whipping up a colourful cocktail to enjoy out by the pool. Inside there is a dining area that seats 6 guests, as well as seating at the breakfast bar, ensuring that all guests can socialise and eat together. Casa Clara’s beautiful contemporary styling is just as apparent in the bedrooms and ensuite shower rooms, with marble floors and heavy woods that contrast with the beautiful artworks and fresh white shades of the linens and soft furnishings. All of the bedrooms feature ceiling fans and air conditioning, king size beds, flat screen TVs, and window screens. The master suite opens out onto its own private terrace and features a stunning infinity pool and incredible ocean views.

Outside, the private pool makes the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing dip under the Mexico sunshine. There is an outdoor grill and several outside lounge and dining areas, all featuring beautifully crafted furniture for your comfort, and offer shaded areas to enjoy an alfresco meal or drink out of the heat. Sun worshippers among you will be delighted to see the loungers situated beside the pool, and there are plenty of lush grassy areas in which to recline either in the shade or sun too.

  • Those travelling with young children should ensure they take care on the marble floors in the living area which may become slippery when wet
  • The home is not beachfront however the beach is just a short stroll away...
  • Please note that you will need to select 14 guests should you wish to have access to all 7 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.
  • Please be aware that, due to weather changes and fluctuating ocean currents, the Riviera Maya may experience the presence of naturally occurring seaweed during the summer months.

Casa Clara is situated in Playa Del Carmen, a coastal resort town along the Yucatan Peninsula’s Riviera Maya. The area is well known for its coral reefs just off shore - making it an ideal holiday location for those who want to experience snorkelling or scuba diving for the first time. Visitors here will also enjoy a stroll along the Quinta Avenida pedestrian thoroughfare which runs parallel to the beach, and offers plenty of shopping opportunities as well as restaurants, bars, and clubs. Playa Del Carmen is a quieter and calmer destination than Cancun, making it a popular choice for families, as is the fact that you are just a short ferry ride to Cozumel where you’ll find plenty of exciting water parks to enjoy, as well as being within easy distance of the peace and quiet of Akumal, and the historic Mayan ruins and laidback hippie-vibe of Tulum.

Playa Del Carmen also benefits from being a little cheaper than some of the other tourist areas, particularly when it comes to food. Here you’ll find not only french bakeries, Italian restaurants and all other manner of international cuisines, but also plenty of authentic street meals - perfect for those who want to experience real Mexican food and fresh fish. The atmosphere here is artsy and eco-friendly, and although does enjoy a vibrant and bustling nightlife, it is significantly more relaxed than areas such as Cancun.

Security deposit A non-refundable damage insurance of £160 is to be paid at the time of booking. $2,500 USD is charged to client’s credit card before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 3 pm.
Departure time 11 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes, included in the rental price. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Changeover day Flexible.
Minimum stay 7 nights during Easter, Christmas, and New Years, respectively. 4-5 nights during other periods.
Pets welcome? Not permitted.
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & Vaping are not permitted.
Tax 16% Government Tax, 3% Lodging Tax & 3% Service Charge have been included in the rental price.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs Please note that a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking at this property (or full payment if booking is within 12 weeks of departure).
