Casa Senatori sits in a fantastic position with beautiful views across Taormina and Castelmola from the picturesque terrace and sublime private pool. This charming holiday villa is set atop a hill, in a quiet residential area. Surrounded on three sides by a lovely, well-maintained garden, this is the perfect place to enjoy the renowned Sicilian sunshine.
The villa itself is spread across three floors, with four bedrooms and plenty of space to accommodate a group of eight guests. The interiors have a calming nature to them, with a blend of modern styles, character features and opulent charms. From the entrance way, a staircase guides you up to the ground floor where you will find the main entertaining spaces. There is a large open-plan family kitchen and dining room, as well as a sophisticated lounge. From the kitchen, vast sliding glass doors open out to the terrace and allow sunlight to flood inside, enlivening the space.
The ground floor is completed by a welcoming double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, easy to access from the main living area. Upstairs, there are two further bedrooms, which both boast walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms, so each guest can enjoy their own privacy. The lower floor of the villa offers space for the fourth and final bedroom, with another en-suite and a pretty terrace and garden, where you can wake up and sip your morning coffee surrounded by lush plants and feeling the first morning rays of the Sicilian sun.
Outside, the homely nature of the villa disperses, making way for the serenity of a holiday location! The beautiful swimming pool is equipped with hydromassage jets, helping to eradicate any lasting worries or stress you might have. With al-fresco dining, a barbecue and plenty of space to rest and restore in the sun, the hardest part of staying here is having to leave at the end!
The lovely beaches at Giardini Naxos, Isola Bella and Mazzarò are all within a short drive, as well as the pretty villages of Mount Etna, Catania, Syracuse and Ortigia, all worth visiting during your stay. Casa Senatori offers an excellent base for exploring all the corners of Eastern Sicily.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa SenatoriCasa Senatori sits in a fantastic position on a hillside with beautiful views across Taormina and Castelmola. Nestled just outside of Taormina town, on the eastern coast of Sicily, this is a brilliant base for exploring this idyllic part of the island.
Taormina offers endless options for eating and drinking, with seafront restaurants, laid-back cafes and an array of high-end bars. During the day, the streets are filled with window shoppers and those enjoying some retail therapy, with plenty of boutique and antique shops for you to dive into. As the evening goes on, night-clubs open, with all genres of music for you to dance into the early hours of the morning. Just outside of Taormina, you will easily spot the magnificent peak of Mount Etna. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is less than 40 minutes away and is the highest volcano in Europe as well as one of most active of the world.
The town plays host to a variety of cultural events from June to September, including a film festival, theatre, classical and pop concerts. One of our favourite ways to pass time is on the picturesque coastal path that winds its way along the Sicilian coast. At Taormina the path leads down to the beautiful beaches, or you can take the funicular down the steep hill. For more active adventures, there is a scuba diving school at Isola Bella beach, while just a ten-minute walk away you will find some great tennis courts available.
The former Greek city of Naxos is just over a 10-minute drive away and features seaside restaurants as well as several stretches of beach. Various boat trips also depart from here and offer an excellent opportunity to see more of the glorious landscapes and scenery.
Less than an hour's drive away, the historic city of Catania is brimming with cultural interest, a buzzing atmosphere and opulent architecture. Its benedictine monasteries, vivacious fish market and kiosks make it well-worth a visit.
The beguiling island of Sicily, with its Baroque hilltop towns, ancient Greek temples, Roman theatres and iconic volcano make it endlessly popular with visitors. The outstanding food and delicious wine are the icing on the cake on this beautiful destination.
