Additionally, from Sorrento you can hop on a ferry and reach the lavish island of Capri in just 20-30 minutes. Here you can spend a day living like the rich and famous and do some celebrity spotting. Further afield, you can reach the exciting city of Naples in roughly 1 hour.

About the surrounding area of Villa CampaniaVilla Campania is located in a quaint hilltop neighbourhood offering privacy and tranquillity as well as mind-blowing sea views. Moreover, from this property you can reach a small beach via a staircase in just a 5 minute walk. On top of this, this home is just a short 5 minute drive from the local town where you can find an array of excellent restaurants, shops and bars.
This wonderful town offers plenty to do and see. Be sure to head to the terrific sandy beach here, the longest of all of the beaches in the Amalfi Coast, as well as stopping by the Church of Santa Maria a Mare, the Norman Tower and the Abbey of Santa Maria de Olearia. What’s more, for those who enjoy a hike, the lemon path connecting Maiori to Minori and offering spectacular views is a must-do.
Additionally, the picturesque town of Amalfi is only 20 minutes away by car. Whilst here be sure not to miss the town’s port, Piazza Dante, the Amalfi Duomo and the Fountain of Sant’Andrea. Furthermore, reach the glamorous cliffside village of Positano in just an hour by car. Roam through the many picturesque streets, visit charming boutique stores and gaze in awe at the unbelievable views and coastal scenery as you walk along the beach.
In addition, the lively city of Naples is also just a 1 hour drive away. Here you can see the world heritage sites of Castel dell’Ovo and Castel Sant’Elmo. What’s more, the magical town of Sorrento is only 1 hour and 25 minutes away by car. Some sights not to miss here include Piazza Tasso, Marina Grande and the Cloister of San Francesco. This town is so charming that even just strolling through the narrow streets, admiring the architecture and soaking up the atmosphere is a great way to spend the day.
From Sorrento you can easily take a day trip to the stunning island of Capri. Catch the ferry from the port of Marina Piccola to reach Capri in just 20-30 minutes. Once you’re on the island you will be spoiled for choice with high-end shops and exceptional restaurants. Furthermore, Capri offers some of the most outstanding natural beauty on the Amalfi Coast. It is well-known for its Faraglioni Rocks and its magical Blue Grotto. Both spots are not to be missed!

Best Suited For: All AgesThe Amalfi Coast is a marvellous location to visit with the kids, full of child-friendly activities and interesting sites to see. In particular, the town of Maiori, just a short drive from the villa, is one of the most child-friendly towns on the Amalfi Coast. With its relatively flat streets and large stretch of beach, which also offers a children’s playground, it is perfect for a day out with the little ones. Some of the best things to do here with the kids include a walk along the promenade and spending some time in the town’s main street, Corso Reginna. This large, flat street is full of cafes and shops and even has a pedestrianised section ideal for young children.
Additionally, only an hour’s drive away sits the ruins of the ancient city of Herculaneum where the kids can discover how the Romans used to live. Moreover, the kids can keep themselves entertained by trying their hand at watersports in Amalfi, just a 20 minute drive from this home. Here they can try parasailing, water skiing and wakeboarding to name a few.
