The ground floor is completed by a fully equipped family bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Ascending the stairs to the first floor reveals the first of the villa’s two bedrooms. This room features a king-sized bed, boudoir, minibar, and a fully equipped bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom can be found on the villa’s unique upper floor. Similarly boasting a king-sized bed, designated workstation, boudoir, and storage space, this bedroom differs from the first thanks to its proximity to the villa’s unique Cave area, where guests will find a bathroom with shower, heated plunge pool and jacuzzi. Built into the rock, the Cave is an outstanding feature of the Milano Suite which ensures an opulent experience spa-like experience.
Beyond the sumptuous interiors, the villa's allure extends to the marvellous terrace offering a stunning al fresco dining setting, shaded seating area, sun beds and a picture-perfect plunge pool. About the surrounding area of Milano SuiteThe westernmost island of the Dodecanese, Astypalaia is quintessentially Greek with its whitewashed villages, azure waters and sun-drenched beaches. The island itself is divided into two main sections connected by a narrow isthmus, giving its identity as “The Butterfly Isle”. Milano Suite is well-situated on the western part (known as Mesa Nisi) in the island’s capital – Astypalea.
Astypalea offers everything guests could require during their relaxing stay, from bars, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, to museums, beaches and swimming spots.
One of the most picturesque towns in the Aegean, Astypalea is perched on a promontory that juts out into the sea creating two splendid bays on each side. Towering above is Astypalea Castle, a Venetian castle constructed by John Querini in the early 13th century as a shelter against pirates.
Make sure not to miss the eight traditional windmills that line the path to the Castle. Situated on the saddle of the hill, the windmills are a lovely feature and, if you look closely, you’ll notice it’s not just their mills that turn but their roofs too.
Archaeological Museum of Astypalaia exhibits artefacts discovered in various archaeological sites from across the island and across time from the Prehistoric period to the Middle Ages.
Drakos Cave is one of the island’s most notable natural attractions. The cave is decorated with an impressive array of stalactites and stalagmites in a variety of colours. The cave has long been thought a hiding place for pirate treasure.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere is a range of great beaches within a short distance from the villa that will prove the perfect place to take the young ones to splash around in the smooth, safe waters of the Aegean. Best of all Astypalaia is a secret gem of an island, low on crowds but high on beauty, meaning the beaches are relatively quiet and ideal for families.
Livadi is a particularly great beach for families with kids thanks to its sandy protected shores and a small range of seaside taverns and cafes.
One of the best ways to explore the island is with an ATV, if the kids are old enough this is a great family adventure. If the kids are too young to control their own vehicle, not to worry, bring them along for the ride to discover the plethora of beaches and scenic points that would otherwise be inaccessible. One such beach is Kaminakia Beach, a haven on the southern part of the island with turquoise waters and white pebbles.
Something else the whole family will enjoy is tasting the local cuisine. One thing you should make sure to try is pouggia – a pie-like deep-fried treat that can be either sweet or savoury. The island is also known for its cheese pies and handmade ravioli-like pasta, the type of dishes that even the pickiest children will gobble down without a fuss.
