This dream of a holiday home house nestles in the heart of Provence, walking distance from a bustling and colourful village and a short drive to the centre of alluring Aix-en-Provence.

The hugely characterful and air conditioned Le Mas de Vinci has seven gorgeous bedrooms, all with a bath or shower. Despite its modern comforts, the house remains full of traditional rustic charm with its wooden ceilings and doors, stone fireplace and carefully chosen furnishings.

There is a cinema room for when the sun goes down and a kitchen and a dining area convivially seating up to 14 guests, leading to a lovely terrace for al-fresco meals. Stroll into the large romantic gardens luxuriously filled with verdant trees, Mediterranean shrubs and birdsong to discover the swimming pool, terraces, charming stone fountain, pond and little stream.

So many of the regions of glorious Provence are accessible from this magnificent holiday home, including the hills, forests, mountains and idyllic perched villages of the Luberon and Les Alpilles. Discover why Cézanne loved the colour and light of Aix-en-Provence or head to the Étang de Berre beaches in Rognac or the azure coloured sea at Marseille.

What you should know…

  • It’s a lovely house for families – there are some areas where youngsters will need to be watched, for example when playing in the garden with the pond and by some steep stairs and mezzanine levels.
  • Some of the bath/shower rooms are open-plan to the bedrooms and do not all have WCs - see 'Features' for full details (there are three WCs across the house and one in the 'Roulotte'/caravan)
  • A charming ‘Roulotte’/caravan in the garden offers space for two extra guests – please enquire.
  • Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Le Mas de Vinci is located just outside a bustling village in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France, between Aix-en-Provence and Salon de Provence. The village is a colourful, flower filled village with a rich history, market, shops, restaurants, wineries and many lively activities throughout the summer. On the outskirts, within a short distance, you will find large supermarkets and other useful amenities.

There are so many of the region’s delights easily accessible from your holiday home. Start by heading to the hills and forests of the Luberon towards Lourmarin, officially classed as one of France’s most beautiful villages with its pretty winding streets filled with boutiques and galleries. More exquisite hilltop Luberon villages further north include Bonnieux, Lacoste and Ménerbes while a drive eastwards to Eyguières will give you a taste of Les Alpilles with its enchanting low mountain range and fabulous hiking trails.

Walk the Cézanne trail in Aix-en-Provence, head to the nearest beach at Rognac on the Étang de Berre or take a day trip to the fascinating city and surrounding coastline of Marseille.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €5000 charged to client’s credit card as a pre-authorisation one month before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

Departure time 10.00 a.m.
Energy costs included? Yes.

Pool towels included? Yes.
Changeover day Saturday. All other changeover days on request.
Minimum stay 7 nights. All other durations on request.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €500. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Smoking Allowed? Outside only.
Pool opening dates? Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner.
