Welcome to Cottage Pittoresque, the perfect blend of traditional French style and modern elegance. This charming four-bedroom villa comfortably accommodates eight guests on the Norman coastline.
Stepping into the villa, guests are greeted by a spacious and tastefully decorated living room featuring plush sofas and large windows where floods of natural light stream in to create an airy and warm ambience. The open-plan design seamlessly connects the living area to the dining space and fully-equipped kitchen, ensuring this hub of the house is capable of being as serene as it is social.
The kitchen itself is a haven for culinary enthusiasts. Tastefully decorated and boasting ample counter space thanks to an island, this kitchen comes complete with the full range of modern appliances and large windows looking out to the garden. Whether you’re tossing together a summer salad or preparing a holiday feast for family and friends, cooking in this kitchen is a treat.
In addition to a sofa bed in the living room capable of sleeping two people, the ground floor consists of two bedrooms with double beds, thoughtfully decorated and with easy access to shower/WC. Ascending the stairs reveals two more well-appointed bedrooms, each with double beds and their own unique character.
Making our way outdoors and guests are greeted by a lush and well-manicured garden. This serene escape with a charming patio is perfect for al fresco dining. Sit back in the sunshine with a glass of wine and watch the sea breeze blow through the willows and apple trees.

Local conveniences are also close at hand, including supermarkets (4-minute drive), shops, boutiques, restaurants, seafood markets, museums.
Of course, the main attraction of a seaside resort is always the beach (8-minute drive), and the fine sand of nearby beaches will not disappoint. For those looking to swing the clubs, the nearest golf course is a mere 11-minute drive away.
For those seeking natural wonders, look no further than Parc naturel régional des Boucles de la Seine Normande (30-minute drive). This meandering landscape follows 112 miles of the River Seine between Rouen and its delta in the English Channel. The beauty of this place will not disappoint, as it didn’t for the many painters who have flocked to its riverbanks over the years, including Turner, Boudin, Sisley and Signac. Easily explore don foot, bike or horseback, there are a bevy of routes, including the Fruit Trail which winds through groves and orchards.
For those interested in a more cultural and cosmopolitan day of exploration, the beautiful city of Rouen (80-minute drive) is close enough for a daytrip. Known for its stunning cathedral, the Gothic façade of which was made the subject of an extraordinary series of exploratory paintings by Claude Monet, Rouen is thriving city with an interesting history.
Similarly, and equidistant, the port city of Le Havre (49-minute drive) on the Seine estuary is another interesting city to explore. Don’t forget to check out the André Malraux Modern Art Museum, which houses one of France’s most extensive collections of impressionist paintings.
