We would love to go back to Chandelier. I hadn't gotten around to emailing a review yet. But we really enjoyed ourselves in Montaut. The house fit like a jacket. All rooms are so well laid out and it felt so nice. And that view... you keep looking. Wherever you sit, you always have a beautiful landscape to enjoy. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were great, we spent many hours in them.
The owner was very nice and helpful. We had a great time with our daughter and are already looking forward to next year! -

We spent a wonderful week at Villa Chandelier. The place was quiet with a beautiful view. The pool and hot tub was very nice after a day of sightseeing. And the house was very nice with all the necessary comfort.

We really enjoyed the house!
We really enjoyed the house and give our stay a big eight. The owner was quick to provide help and assistance when you needed them and was able to find a solution if necessary. We were able to use the heated swimming pool every day and it was ideal in terms of temperature and size. With the added bonus of the shower at the pool, so you could immediately shower off after swimming. The shower room belonging to the bedroom we used ('master bedroom') was also beautiful and pleasant to use. The location of the house, the layout, the facilities and the view of almost 360 * makes the house an ideal stay for a holiday of many weeks.... It was of course out of season and therefore very quiet, but there was still next to the village of Issigeac, a Spar and a bakery and a number of restaurants were open and on certain days you could pick up a pizza. The large supermarkets can be found a 40-minute drive in Bergerac. 25 minutes from Villereal and Beaumont.

What a beautiful, neat villa with all the luxury. It is a beautiful domain, clean swimming pool, nice jacuzzi, and so on. The owner is also a pleasant person. We really had no complaints.

Beautiful
It's been almost a week since I returned to the Netherlands, I miss beautiful France and the beautiful villa terribly! We enjoyed it, everything we needed was there. Very spacious villa in a beautiful location with beautiful views of the hilly landscape from all angles. We will look forward to a nice stay next year if it is up to us!

The surroundings are beautiful...
The surroundings are beautiful, the placement of the villa is very well located, not to mention the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The house is fully equipped. The welcome is fantastic and always available in case of questions and minor concerns. To top it off, the view in the jacuzzi is beautiful, relaxing without the opposite and you can sleep in peace. A Wonderful Holiday
We had a wonderful holiday and it was a beautiful house. Despite the corona and a number of days of bad weather, we enjoyed the days when we also had nice weather and could use the swimming pool and jacuzzi. We visited nice villages in the area, including Bergerac, Sarlat, Beynac-et-Cazenac and La Roque Cageac. You can combine the last two with a morning visit to Sarlat, where there is a lively market every Wednesday and Saturday.
We visited a wine farm in 24240 Saussignac, Chateau Feely. -

We had a wonderful holiday in Villa Chandelier. What a beautiful villa. Almost everything you could wish for was also present. In short, we had a wonderful holiday in a super luxurious villa.

A Fantastic Time
In short, we had a fantastic time. We were received very warmly with clear explanations. And if he wanted to come by the pool or mow the lawn, we received a text message in advance. The house really lacked nothing. Everything neatly clean, nice beds, nice spacious bathroom. The kitchen is very complete and everything is technically in order.
It's nice that everything is on one level and therefore very easy to clean in between. The garden, the view, the swimming pool (which I have never seen so clean anywhere) are all fantastic.
We are already thinking that we might want to come back next year during the first 3 weeks of June. In short, we drove back to the Netherlands on Saturday morning with pain in our hearts. -
A Great Experience
The week in Villa Chandelier was a great experience. A clean and spacious swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a lounge set by the pool for the warm summer evenings. And for the chillier evenings (it's only May) or the cold misty morning, the underfloor heating is quickly sufficient. The house is practical and spacious and very easy to keep clean. The house was also technically in good order. Everything worked. It really goes too far to list all the beautiful things in the house, and it is all on the website.

We look back on a wonderful stay in Villa Chandelier. What a beautiful house and beautiful peaceful surroundings. The villa is ideal for groups of up to 4 people (plus one small child/baby), is quietly located and equipped with all modern comforts.
The kitchen certainly deserves an extra compliment, we have never experienced such a complete and fully equipped kitchen. There are many smaller villages in the area where many events, especially marches and marches gourmandes, are organized in the high season. Such a marché gourmande (or nocturne) is often a nice place to eat and drink locally for little money.
The many "bastides" in the area, villages that arose around a settlement from the late Middle Ages, are certainly worth a visit. The larger towns in the area, Bergerac, Perigueux and a little further Bordeaux are also worth a visit.
