Overview
Welcome to the epitome of traditional French charm and indoor/outdoor lifestyle at Les Volets Rouges. This sprawling and recently renovated (2022) four-bedroom villa and grounds comfortably accommodates up to eight guests in an enchanting blend of coastal and countryside life.
Stepping into the expansive living room, guests are greeted by a warm and airy ambience provided by vaulted ceilings and floods of natural light streaming in from panoramic windows onto the terrace. Tastefully decorated with neutral tones and splashes of Basque colours, particularly reds, greens and blues. These thoughtfully reflect the villa’s Basque exterior – a traditional white façade with red shutters and roofs. In this inviting space guests are spoiled by plush sofas, cushioned nooks by the fireside and a spacious dining area.
The adjacent open kitchen comes fully equipped with the full range of modern appliances and ample counter space. Boasting vies onto the lush greenery outside, culinary enthusiasts will revel in this kitchen’s smooth functionality whether you’re tossing together a summer salad or preparing a holiday feast for family and friends.
On the ground floor guests will find the first two of four bedrooms, each containing a queen-sized bed and convenient access to bathroom/shower and separate WC. This villa also includes a small office for guests who may need to pop off and do some work in privacy.
Ascending the stairs reveals two further bedrooms, each consisting of two single beds with en suites. On this floor guests will also find an open gallery space, two sun-soaked balconies, and a separate WC.
Making our way out of doors onto the villa’s expansive terrace, guests are beckoned to the turquoise swimming pool for a refreshing dip. Lounge in the sun and enjoy the stunning surrounds of lush greenery, not to mention garden’s own personal pond and island. With gorgeous al fresco dining settings, comfy shaded sofas and room to roam, Les Volets Rouges does not disappoint.
