Sitting in verdant green gardens in a quiet residential area close to the city of Biarritz, Villa Nature is a wonderful, contemporary home in a location which has something for everyone.
Villa Nature is a newly constructed house set over two floors, designed by a highly regarded local architect. The home is lined with vast windows which allow the natural light to pour in to the whitewashed rooms, there are also other unique details such as the exposed steel staircase and the feature-fireplace. While the house is modern, it is also a welcoming family home with comfy sofas, large dining spaces and inviting bedrooms.
On the ground floor, you will enter a vast, open-plan room which has three sofas gathered together around a large flatscreen TV, where you can get cosy and watch a film in the evenings. In the cooler months, there is a large fireplace to warm the room. Also in this space there is a dining table which seats 8 guests. You can prepare your meals in the sleek, high-end kitchen which has everything you could need for making meals or drinks.
When it is time to get a good night’s sleep after a busy day on the beach, there are five bedrooms to choose from. Four of the bedrooms have double beds, while the final room can be laid out as a twin room or a double room. Each bedroom has its own character which comes from the paint colours and art work on the walls and boasts an en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom is a peaceful retreat which would be perfect for a couple; this room offers a dressing room and a freestanding bath where you can indulge in a long soak with a good book.
Stepping outside, the garden is beautifully manicured. The private, heated swimming pool takes centre stage and is great for taking a refreshing dip on a hot day. You are able to lounge in the sun on the poolside sun loungers or dine al-fresco on the covered dining terrace in this idyllic space.
When you wish to get out and see some of the local area, there is so much to do nearby! The home is located in the Chiberta area of Anglet, an area which is well-known for its amazing golf course and a wide range of beaches which line the coast. The beaches here draw in surfers from all over Europe and offer brilliant surfing, paddle boarding and body boarding. Also near to the villa, you will find a selection of shops and restaurants within a 1.5km diameter of the home. Just 6km away from Villa Nature, you can also drive to the fantastic city of Biarritz which is one of the most popular holiday destinations in France.
What you should know…
- There is a minimum stay of two weeks for those wishing to rent Villa Nature outside of the summer season.
- The modern home can sleep up to 8 adults and 2 children. The maximum number of adults cannot exceed 8.
- There are a number of beaches and eateries within walking distance of the home, but if you wish to bring a car to explore the wider area.
- Please note that published rates are only valid for the current year. Any bookings for subsequent years will be on request only and correct rates will be confirmed at the time of booking.

About the surrounding area of Villa NatureAs its name suggests, Villa Nature is the perfect place to stay if you are a lover of nature! The home is located in the Chiberta area of Anglet in France’s Basque Country, an area filled with ancient forests and enveloped by sweeping beaches and the Adour River. The home’s amazing location means you can spend time out in the local countryside and beaches and also visit a number of cities such as Biarritz and Bayonne which are each under 7km away.
If you are a sports enthusiast, then this is the place for you! Not only will you have beautiful scenery to enjoy in the local area, but you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to the fantastic range of sports facilities, walking trails and natural spaces nearby. Just 1.5km away from the house for example, is the local golf club which is home to a 27-hole golf course, as well as a tennis court. Just 4km away, you can also easily reach the Chiberta Forest, a lovely pine forest where you can walk, cycle, horse ride and even book on to an exciting Segway tour through the 220 hectares of peaceful woodlands. Another place you could visit for a walk or a scenic picnic is Parc écologique Izadia, just a short distance from the villa. This large park has lakes and plenty of flat walking trails for all abilities.
If you prefer to spend your down time unwinding on a long sandy beach, you will find plenty within easy reach of Villa Nature. There are 11 delightful beaches which span 4.5km along the coast up to Biarritz. The closest beach is just 1.5km away. As the area is known for surfing, you will find lots of surfing areas on the beaches, but the bathing areas are also clearly marked so those who wish to relax in peace can do so too. Backing the beach is the lush pine forest, local restaurants and children’s playgrounds, so you will have plenty to see and do without travelling far.
When you fancy walking around the streets of a bustling city, Biarritz is only 6km away. Biarritz has been a firm-favourite with holiday-makers for hundreds of years and was made famous as a summer destination for royals and nobles. Now, the city is one of two halves- the older areas with their glamorous historic buildings and the new, vibrant surfing scene which has brought in more modern bars, shops and restaurants. There is certainly something for everyone in the city. While here you can wander round the stunning streets and do some shopping and visit some of the sumptuous Belle époque era villas. There are also unique attractions here such as the Cité de l'Océan which is a sea museum which also has a range of fun-filled rides.

While here, you can explore the Basque Country’s leafy landscape, as well as spending days visiting some of the incredible cities such as Biarritz.
If you wish to treat the kids to a fun-filled day out, why not head to Chiberta Forest treetop adventure park which is a mere 4km away from the home. The park is set in an ancient woodland and offers five different treetop trails to suit a range of ages. You can also traverse the forest by bike, as the area of Anglet offers free bicycle rental in the summer months!
