Overview
Surround yourself in the peaceful, luxurious serenity of Casa Postrana.
Oozing sophistication from the very outset, this villa is the perfect place to get away from the pressures of daily life, with a partner, a friend, with enough space to fit the entire family!
Set out across two levels, this villa boasts three high quality bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to eight guests. Each bedroom is finished with an en-suite bathroom for further comfort and privacy. The larger bedrooms feature a double bed accompanied with a single bed and the final bedroom features two single beds, all thoughtfully arranged with space in mind with the two main bedrooms being lit spectacularly by large glass windows, flooding the rooms with natural light, really emphasising the space around.
Outside of the bedrooms, the entire home has been finished in a modern, relaxing vibe, seamlessly tying each room together in light neutral tones of creams and beiges. This has created an atmosphere of comfortable calm which is evident in each room and artfully accented with an array of textures and colours to give it that really opulent shine.
One of the most stunning areas of this home is the main open plan living and dining area which is framed perfectly by a floor to ceiling glass door, which covers nearly an entire wall, providing guests with a masterful snapshot of the Croatian vista that lies beyond, a fantastic accompaniment to any cosy night on the sofa or family meal. Just through the doors, guests will find themselves amongst the views on a private terrace area which is also home to the villas pool. The pool offers another great location to watch the sunset or merely a place to keep fit or splash around with the little ones. There are also areas here where guests are free to lay back and enjoy the sun’s rays without the fear of getting wet!

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa PostranaCasa Postrana can be found nestled in the hillside of the exclusive residential district of picturesque Podstrana, just seven kilometres from the city of Split, on the dramatic Croatian coastline. The villa sits on the southern slopes of the Perun mountains, with commanding panoramic Adriatic Sea views and tantalising vistas over the town of Podstrana, and the city of Split, especially enticing as the stars come out to shine, and the lights begin to twinkle.
Casa Postrana is a scenic twenty-five kilometre coastal route drive from Split International Airport. Banks and beaches, shops and supermarkets, cafes and bars, tennis courts and sailing boats are all within a kilometre drive from the villa. The beaches of Podstrana stretch to six kilometres, with inviting crystal clear turquoise waters that are ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Spend the day at one of the beach clubs, some with a selection of adrenalin-inducing water sports, take a stroll around the marina docked with luxury yachts, and dine on local delicacies at the seafront restaurants.
Take the coast road down to Split, the second-largest city in Croatia. Head straight to the historic third-century Palace of Diocletian, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk the old town’s cobbled streets to discover local markets, iconic churches, the San Domnius cathedral, art museums, ancient ruins, and fortifications. Promenade along the front to Riva Harbour, and stop for a coffee and watch the boats sail by. Make a day of it in the town of Solin, northeast of Split, known initially as Salona, once the ancient capital of Dalmatia and the birthplace of Emperor Diocletian. Wander around the ruins of the Archaeological Park, then head north to the town of Klis and discover the medieval fortress where Game of Thrones was filmed.
Take a trip to charming Trogir, sitting on a small island connected to the mainland and famous for its Renaissance, Baroque, and Romanesque architecture, medieval walls, a thirteenth-century cathedral, and St John’s chapel with a bell tower with a view. If you are feeling adventurous, go to Omis, where Croatia’s longest zip line will take you across its verdant landscape, and afterwards, swim in the sea from one of the many sandy beaches on its twenty-kilometre riviera. Make sure you tour the area’s vineyards and sample the delights of Croatian wine. Travel further afield for a full away day to the capital Dubrovnik, the historic Medjugorje and Mostar, or take a tourist boat to the nearby islands of Brac, Hvar, and Solta. In the evening, head to one of the beach bars in town for a sunset cocktail and supper in a romantic taverna. For clubbing and the nightlife, take a taxi to Split and make your way to Bacvice, the epicentre of all things hedonistic.

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa.
The villa itself is brand new and very well designed. The view is incredible and it is extremely peaceful and tranquil. The infinity pool is great and there is also a small gym which is handy. We would recommend any future guests to hire a car as the property is located on a very steep hill and is a 30minute walk from beach/supermarket. Overall if you want a peaceful holiday in a wonderful property with superb views then I would definitely recommend this villa!
