Villa Ulica is nestled amongst hills or charming nature at the foot of the Biokovo mountains, lies this stunning holiday villa. Built in traditional light-coloured stone, this home seamlessly blends into its natural surroundings, a truly picturesque masterpiece. This nature surrounded home is perfectly located to offer all guests peace and quiet, where one can wake up to the uninterrupted sounds of the birds singing and fall asleep to the sounds of the busy crickets however, it is still a very central location offering short distances to most of Makarska’s main attractions. The beach lies just 2km away and the palm lined streets of the city centre are a mere 1.5km away.
The home itself boasts a comfortable four bedrooms and can sleep a total of eight guests. The bedrooms are all finished with cosy beds, warm peachy hues and all are lit up by the sun’s rays through the large windows. If guests so choose, one can wake up to the gentle glow of the sun as it rises across the horizon, what an idyllic way to start any day.
Beyond the bedrooms, this home has a wealth of features that make this villa quite an opulent place to stay. The garden is especially stunning. Out here guests will find a generously sized pool, complete with roman steps. Neighbouring the pool there are a few sun loungers which are a tempting way to spend the entire day, relaxing in the heat, reading a book or simply enjoying a snooze. Also accessible from the outdoor area is a Jacuzzi, this is found in a separate room surrounded by windows that overlook the pool and nature below. This is a great place to escape in privacy with a partner and enjoy the sunset with a glass of bubbly amongst the bubbles.
The home also features two well equipped kitchens and living spaces, as the home has two separate entrances offering extra privacy to larger groups if needed.

Makarska is a port town located on the Dalmatian coast, hugged by the calm blue waves of the Adriatic on one side and the gorgeous greenery of the Mount Biokovo nature reserve on the other.
Most known for its expanse of lustrous beaches, Makarska is the perfect location for laid back holidays, great for resetting and rejuvenating away from the daily grind. The beaches across Makarska are all idyllic, picturesque beaches, whether they are sand covered or stone, many are located in peaceful private bays offering guests a really tranquil experience. Backing most of the beaches are the edges of the greenery found in the national park creating a very tropical atmosphere. Each beach has its own charms, for instance the Punta Rata is a great choice for families as the beach gently slopes into the shallows of the Adriatic. Some beaches offer complete privacy, others offer a more livelier side with paddle boat rentals, jet skiing, banana boat rides, beach bars and restaurants.
Beyond the beaches, the old towns of Makarska have a lot to visit, with open air restaurants and cafés oozing tantalising scents of local seafood flavours. There are daily markets and little shops to visit and many options for nightlife.
Away from the towns, the national park is home to Golden Eagles and Balkan Chamois, visitors are free to hike through these trails or even hop onto a mountain bike to explore.

Lovely
The villa presents a marvellous mix of old and new, wonderful views of both sea and imposing mountains.Makarska is a typical harbour town, not much tourists during October (when we stayed in Makarska). The best atmosphere and restaurant selection are around the harbour front.
