- We’d recommend a car should you wish to traverse further afield in Dubrovnik – this is definitely worth doing.

It is perfect for those who want to be close enough to the action of the area but also want to retreat into a tranquil haven. Situated close to the Studenac mini-market, the Zepellin café, bar, and a gamut of bakeries and small shops should you wish to browse. Positioned perfectly in front of your villa is the Mokosica Riviera – here, you can follow a beautiful walkway which takes you down to the east side of Mokosica Bay. On the riviera, you’ll find the Vapor café bar situated on a jetty, Restaurant Bogo and a football and basketball pitch for sporty evenings with the kids.
If you’re seeking the calm allure of the Adriatic, you have two beaches close by, Rijeka Beach and Lozica Beach. Rijeka is a sandy beach with clear crystalline waters, making it superb for swimming and snorkelling. Lozica is a pebbled beach with a slightly more rugged but equally beautiful appeal. Both are popular with families and locals.
4.9 miles from your villa is Onofrio’s Fountain, a beautiful and ancient piece of work and an excellent meeting point. With Dubrovnik on your doorstep, you must visit this dreamy and beautiful part of the world.
There are many restaurants, bars and shops to explore, but Dubrovnik’s old town is the best way to catapult yourself into a fascinating past. We highly recommend a sunset walk around the city's walls, a great way to explore the city and its incredible views from a height. For those who are fans of the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, you can enjoy a walking tour of the city which takes you to some of the key filming locations and brings the action to life – stop for a shame cocktail by the walk of shame stairs that Cersei stepped down and take a photo on the iron throne itself.
The island of Lokrum lingers close by and makes for a beautiful day trip. Explore its bountiful gardens and keep an eye out for peacocks and wild rabbits. There are also glorious spots for swimming in the wild sea, a Game of Thrones museum, and a long and winding walk through captivating nature.
You can also explore the Kravika waterfalls, tour the Blue Cave, Odysseus Cave and the four islands, or take a day trip to Montenegro. To see the spectacular city of Dubrovnik from an even greater height, a cable car is a beautiful way to take it all in. You can also explore the sultry Old Port area of the city.
Peppered with historical charm, oodles of culture, delicious food and ravishing natural beauty, there is plenty to see, do and explore in the area, whatever your preference.
