Overview

Pool Modern Ideal for Kids Walk to Beach Walk to Village

The term 'dream property' is not one to lightly throw around, yet Villa Rampart might just fit the bill. A gorgeously modern, stylish, and elegant property, you're welcome to enjoy comfortable luxury in beautiful Bol, located in the south of Brac island off the coast of Croatia.

Sometimes glamour can equal a lack of charisma, but Villa Rampart certainly contains character, thanks to its Brac stone foundations.
An open-plan design, the space is intended to be light, airy, and welcoming and is there to maximise a day's sunlight. This truly is a magical and memorable setting for the family holiday of your dreams.

Built-in a highly esteemed location, you can enjoy the benefits of the traditional Mediterranean way of life with al fresco meals and leisurely laps of the pool, all whilst living on your little piece of a majestic island. Villa Rampart will enable you to escape the wider world's stresses and strains.

As you approach your holiday home, you'll find a delightful stone path that splits to lead you towards two separate dwellings connected by an enchanting inner courtyard. Between both buildings, you'll find a swimming pool and terrace where you might choose to spend much of your time. The buildings boast spaciousness and offer tantalising glimpses of the sea just in case you need to pinch yourself to remind yourself where you are.

Ideal for 12 guests, Villa Rampart, is the perfect choice for larger families seeking togetherness, a group of friends who want a blissful adventure or a corporate vacation. At a push, it can house 16 people. You'll find everything you need to unite as a group, including a large kitchen ideal for socialising and feasting, a living room where you can relax, and an indoor dining area just perfect for entertaining and quality time. With floor-to-ceiling glass, the property is flooded with light which creates a lovely aesthetic throughout the day.

In the main house, you'll find the master bedroom complete with an en-suite bathroom and a private terrace which overlooks the Adriatic. Further along, you'll find a double bedroom also with an en-suite bathroom.
In the second house, you'll find four studios, each with a bathroom and kitchenette, ideal for couples or smaller groups who may wish for privacy.
The outdoor space is hard to beat, with a long table for mealtimes flanked by the serene presence of nature. It's the little touches that can transform a space and with mini candelabras adorning the table, you'll feel almost regal. This is of course a great place to taste the Mediterranean with all its fresh, juicy, sharpness and indulge in a glass of wine or cocktail. A beautiful place for breakfast, it's a wonderful way to welcome in the day. For evenings, light up the fireplace, especially if you're staying during the mild winter months.

There's also a wonderful outdoor lounge area, another idyllic spot to enjoy breakfast in serenity and bliss. The surrounding area is lush and green, and with views from all around, it'll be hard to decide whether you want to remain ensconced in your decadent home or whether the call of the island will prove too strong to resist. Of course, we'd recommend both. You're well positioned for a walk into town, to a local restaurant and to the beach.

All of the convenient little touches you'd require are available – Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, an outdoor BBQ, ground floor bed and bath, satellite television and heating.

We know you'll absolutely adore this very special place and can't wait to welcome you to Villa Rampart.

Croatia tantalises guests from all over the world. It has a way of elevating any holiday, thanks to its striking architecture, gorgeous and untainted natural beauty, delicious food, and easy way of living. The weather certainly doesn’t hurt either. Croatia is a true gem, and a very warm and welcoming place for peaceful indulgence as a family.

Brac island itself, where your villa is housed, is the longest and most elevated of the islands in central Dalmatia. Brac itself is very close to Split, a bustling and must-see Croatian city, but it’s actually much less touristy than the islands that fall further south, such as Hvar and Korcula. This makes it perfect for those who want to avoid the churning crowds and seek a more quiet, stress-free, and gentle taste of island life.

A huge lure when it comes to the Mediterranean is the food with its zesty, punchy flavours. We’d encourage you to try some of the local olive oil, made from a very rare variety known as Buhavica. With over half a million trees on the island, it’s a very popular product and locally sourced.

If you’ve not heard of Zlatni Rat (golden horn) beach, it’s time you were introduced to this marvellous cone of golden sand. It has a reputation as one of the most beautiful beaches. It’s stunning from above as you see the kiss of golden sand arch back into lush green forest. This is a wonderful space to sunbathe (safely), swim and enjoy all manner of water sports including windsurfing, kiteboarding, diving (this is one of the best places to do it if you want to see the underwater world teaming with life), sailing and boating, amongst others. If you’re a fan of the water, make sure you utilise this golden opportunity. Whilst here, you can also pop to Stina for some wine tasting, or Auro for a nightlife experience. The striking viewpoint of Vidova Gora is a recommended way to see the island from above. If you’re of an adventurous mind, you can do a skydive over Bol and with such lush natural beauty, it’s tempting indeed.

If you wish to visit in-land, the city of Split with its lovely promenade, glowing beaches and lashings of culture is a great way to explore the hustle and bustle. A trip to other islands, such as Hvar, an infamous summer resort, and Korcula, birthplace of the world explorer Marco Polo, are wonderful options before you return to your own island.

In Bol itself, you can pay a visit to the Dominican Monastery, Martinica Beach, Kotlina Beach, the nautic centre, the port area, and the enigmatic Dragon’s Cave. Regardless of your interests, you’ll not be bored.

The sun-kissed island of Brač, situated off Croatia’s stunning Dalmatian Coast, is much more than just a destination; it's an intriguing tapestry of culture, nature, and history. Brač is an island where the past and present seamlessly intertwine, and the beauty of the landscape is as enticing as its history is enthralling.

Located on the north coast of Brač, and connecting it to the mainland, is the port town of Supetar. It provides a warm welcome to the island, offering an array of cosy cafes serving up strong Croatian coffee and freshly baked pastries. The town’s palm-fringed promenade is a delightful spot for a stroll, and the Romanesque architecture and historic churches are testaments to its enduring history.

Just 40 minutes away, on the south coast of the island, is the idyllic town of Bol, renowned for its beautiful beaches. The most notable is the picture-perfect Zlatni Rat, known as the ‘Golden Horn’ - a stunning natural phenomenon that shifts shape with the tides and winds. The waters here are a dazzling shade of blue, offering a perfect setting for a day of relaxation and water sports.

The Bol Marina is lined with vibrant cafes and restaurants, the perfect place to delight in the local cuisine, including fresh seafood and exquisite Dalmatian wines. Walking along the charming seafront, you'll be immersed in the island's culture, with the scent of lavender lingering in the air from local shops selling handmade products.

Often listed as one of the prettiest towns in Europe, Pučišća is a small coastal town with a big personality, known for its white limestone and beautiful bay. As you wander through the town's enchanting streets, you'll encounter architectural gems built from the island's famous white stone that has been used in iconic structures worldwide, including the White House in Washington, D.C.

For the nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, Brač offers an array of adventures. From windsurfing and scuba diving in the crystal-clear waters, to hiking the island's trails and cycling through the picturesque countryside, there's no shortage of activities to keep you engaged. A visit to Vidova Gora is an absolute must for any active traveller after their adrenaline fix! As the highest peak of all the Adriatic islands, it offers a breathtaking panorama of Brač and its surrounding islands. The hike to the top is an invigorating experience, rewarding you with unobstructed views of the island's diverse landscapes.

Brač is perfectly situated for island-hopping adventures. A short ferry ride will take you to neighbouring islands like Hvar and Vis, each boasting their own personality and offering a unique experience. From the vibrant nightlife of Hvar to the unspoiled beauty of Vis, these nearby islands complement a trip to Brač with additional cultural and natural discoveries.

A trip to Brač is an immersive experience that allows you to embrace a piece of Croatian history, savour the delights of the Mediterranean, and connect with the soul of an island where time seems to stand still. It's an island that will leave you with lasting memories, longing to return to its irresistible allure.
