Brac Island is blessed with stunning scenery making it one of the Adriatic’s most beautiful islands. Its captivating Zlatni Rat Beach at Bol, on the south of the island, adorns most Croatia’s tourism posters and is absolutely stunning with shimmering fine sand and crystal clear sea waters. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean, lined with decades-old pine trees. Brac is brimming with charming villages, fabulous coves and delightful wineries. Sutivan is an ideal base to explore the island.
Architects and interior designers have absolutely made the most of Villa Akvamarin’s plot. The outside space is gorgeous and is divided into a Mediterranean garden, terrace, and pool, with its beautiful stone walls blending perfectly with the black-framed glass structure of the villa's ground floor. Trendy furnishings complete the picture with alfresco lounge areas, hanging egg chairs, quality loungers surrounding the pool, bistro tables and chairs perfect for your morning cup of coffee and little secret furnished hideaways for a quiet read. Shush! Don’t tell anyone about the gorgeous rooftop one! The swimming pool is magnificent, stretching from one end of the plot to the other. It is so beautiful! The ground floor open plan living space is striking, with most walls comprised of floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open the entire space onto the terraces, contemporary living at its very best. The living area with its on-trend sofa, chairs, and large television is to one side of the magnificent, contemporary central staircase. On the other side are a chef’s dream of a kitchen in black and oak and a stunning industrial feel dining table and chairs. It is all very impressive and stylish.
The glorious bedroom suites are an equal delight, mesmerising indulgent spaces with sumptuous modern furnishings, luxury linens, space, huge picture windows to enjoy the superb panoramic seascapes and gorgeous ensuite bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms feature kingsize beds, and the last is a twin. Each of the bathrooms has a different colour pop, all vibrant, energising and exciting! Location
About the surrounding area of Villa AkvamarinThe charming village of Sutivan is located on the northwest coast of Brac, opposite Split on the mainland. Sutivan is a small, tranquil village boasting beautiful beaches, a number of wonderful restaurants and some shops. You can walk from Villa Akvamarin to all of this. Sutivan’s pretty promenade runs from the little harbour Lucica to the bays of Likve, Prubuje, Stinive, Stipanske, Male Tihe and the Vicja Luka harbour. Sutivan is surrounded by fabulous olive groves, vineyards, mandarin fields and forests. Jakov Natalis-Bozicevic is a stunning building built in 1505 and the 17th century castle Kastil Marijanovic stands proud on the eastern part of the harbour. The summer cottage of Kavanjin was built between 1690 and 1705 with a pretty baroque garden. The village boasts several excellent restaurants and bars. The park is lovely with a small zoo and bowling, basketball, football and a small playground. A festival of extreme sports takes place in the village every May.
Brac is famous for its very attractive white stone. The famous White House in Washington is made from Brac stone. The island is also famous for its ‘buhavica’ olive oil, cheese, honey, and wine. The Stina Winery on the waterfront at Bol is lovely, and the Process, a little like Australian Muscat, is delicious. You must try it.
Milna is located on the northwest side of Brac. The Venetians called it ‘Valle di Mille navi’ (the bay of a thousand ships) due to the welcoming bays of Milna. The stone houses along the stunning coastline are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture, and the Baroque church, with its typical Dalmatian bell tower, is very beautiful. Milna will enchant you with its healthy Mediterranean cuisine, specialising in fresh fish, quality olive oil and homemade wines. Visitors enjoy sailing, fishing or scuba-diving from the harbours.
Also beautiful and excellent excursions are the delightful coves of Osibova and Lucice, the Bobovisca harbour, Selca, Sumartin, Lozisca village and the nearby small island of Mrdulja situated at the entrance of the harbour.
Most famous of all, though, is the mesmerizing Zlatni Rat beach at Bol. Thanks to its particular shape, it is one of the most exceptional beaches in the world. Zlatni Rat’s elegance and appeal have made it the symbol of both the town of Bol and Croatia. The government of Croatia protects the beach as a geomorphological monument.

For the nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, Brač offers an array of adventures. Exceptional
The Villa Akvamarin is a great piece of architecture. Everything is well designed. Lots of different relaxing spots. Every room has its own bathroom and balcony. The living room is just a huge space with no walls, only windows with a stunning sea view. A great addition to the pool is an outside shower with hot water. Also, bbq spot is great and we've used it a lot. Other benefits that I would like to highlight are two parking slots on the property, a nice garden that provides privacy. The location of the villa is also great, everything can be reached on foot (beaches, center of the Sutivan). Tomislav and Doubravka are great hosts, very kind. I had all information in advance.
