Sea Glass at Tryall Club is a dream holiday home! The tranquil surroundings will make you feel your inner peace blossoming as you slowly forget about your worries back home.
Inside, the interiors are homely and the rooms contain lovely high wooden ceilings. A bookshelf sits in the living room and will provide endless hours of entertainment for any keen readers staying at this home. Throughout the house, you will be captivated by the striking artworks emblazoned onto walls and dazzling colour that can be seen on the villa’s furniture and ornaments.
While staying at Sea Glass, you will make full use of the games room that comes complete with a pool table, ping pong and 70" television – this is where the fun begins. If you must catch up on some business while away, there’s a laptop and printing equipment available to use, which can also be used to plan any day trips and adventures that you wish to experience during your time here.
Outdoors, a beautiful hexagon pool sits in the midst of stunning palm trees and flowers with bougainvillaea on all sides. It’s common to spot graceful hummingbirds, wild canaries and yellow bellies flocking to the surrounding nature in the villa’s peaceful garden. The garden is simply heavenly and its six acres are the most exciting feature of this lovely home. A hot tub sits beside the pool, which is a fantastic place to take in the delightful views from. You can also admire the scenery from one of the many balconies, one which is furnished with a bed – you’ll be forgiven for gently nodding in this spot.
What you should know…
- Please note that you will need to select 12 guests should you wish to have access to all 6 bedrooms. Those selecting fewer guests will only have access to a prorated number of bedrooms based on 2 guests per room.
- Remember, it is customary to pay a 15% Gratuity fee before leaving your Villa in Jamaica
- All of the villa’s bedrooms are near each other, however, they still benefit from a private feel
- The Tryall Club requires all villa guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership Fee

About the surrounding area of Sea Glass at Tryall ClubLocated on 200 acres of unspoiled Jamaican forest, the Tryall Club offers privacy, peace and tranquillity to its guests. A former plantation, the Tryall Club has since dedicated itself to the preservation of its natural landscape and is now home to over 30 species of non-fruiting trees, including rare grey birch trees, and 12 species of fruit trees.
On-site you’ll find a member’s only beach club for Tryall Club residents, boutique shops, tennis courts and one of Jamaica’s finest 18-hole golf courses. Food and drink is available at Tryall Club, with a beachside grill, two restaurants and two bars. There are 2 swimming pools, a zero-entry heated infinity-edge swimming pool directly above the beach and 2nd pool at the Great House with swim-up bar service available during the winter season.
Water sports facilities are located on the main beach where you can enjoy complimentary Kayak and paddleboards, rent hobie cats, book water skiing, banana boat rides and sailing lessons (all motorised water sports are charged locally).
There is a reef offshore that can be viewed from a glass bottom boat or snorkelers and divers can explore, bottom and deep-sea fishing trips can also be booked.
To help stay in shape while away the resort has an ocean facing gym. Qualified yoga instructors are available and there are 9 tennis courts along with tennis pros, hitting partners and ball boys.
If you want to go off-site, you’ll find the nearby area easy to navigate and easily accessible by local taxi services which can be arranged for you by the Tryall Club concierge team. In both Sandy Bay and Hopewell, you’ll find additional shopping and dining opportunities offering plenty of variety, from upscale beachfront cuisine to casual local hotspots.
Just 30 minuites drive away is Montego Bay, Jamaica's tourism capital and arguably one of the Caribbean’s premier resort destinations. It is the island's second city in terms of size and importance and has long been a playground for the world's rich and famous.
The City's streets are colourful and lively, with craft market stalls, shops and banks. You can visit the renowned white-sand Doctor's Cave Beach which has attracted celebrities and socialites from all over the world. Legend tells that the beach is fed by healing mineral springs, whether or not the legend is true, the beach certainly holds the most uncommonly clear and sparkling waters.
As well as dazzling waters, Montego bay also offers history, culture and wildlife. The Rocklands Feeding station is a must for bird lovers, located only minutes from Montego Bay. The Belvedere estate also draws in tourists from every area, one of the first sugar cane plantations in Jamaica and is still a working estate.
There are numerous spa's, restaurants, nightclubs, historic cites, watersports and adventure parks at your disposal as a vacationer at Montego Bay. The ideal holiday destination for families, couples and friends alike.

Prior to Booking
Please be aware that Jamaica is an island nation that experiences weather patterns dictated by the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the island and the Caribbean Sea to the south of the island. This tropical rainforest climate results in the island experiencing a hurricane season, which usually occurs between June to November. Entry Requirements
Tourists who are British Citizens will not require a visa upon arrival and Departure Tax is included in most flight costs. Please check Entry Requirements before departure.
Getting There
Jamaica has two international airports, Donald Sangster in Montego Bay and Norman Manley, Kingston.
From the US:
There are many direct flights with Jet Blue, Caribbean, Delta, American and United from cities including New York, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
From the UK:
There are direct flights to Montego Bay from Gatwick and Manchester with American Airlines, British Airways or Virgin Atlantic. Glasgow and Belfast passengers can also fly via the US with United Airlines.

Villa Staff included at this property:
A full-time dedicated chef, butler, housekeeper and personal laundress attend exclusively to your villa.
Your cook will handle grocery shopping and meal preparation. They will pre-purchase your first few meals plus pantry staples, then finish the week's shopping after meeting with you. At week's end, they will present receipts for all food and beverage and reconcile your account. A typical grocery budget is $55-$65 per adult per day and $20-25 per day for preteens. This may vary up or down depending on market prices and menus.(more luxurious items such as shrimp, lobster, imported meats and Champagne will incur a further charge).
Your cook will also pre-purchase a small starter bar (a few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately-priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol requests will increase your budget. If you wish to go to the various markets with them, you are welcome. Otherwise, simply review your tastes and distastes with them and they'll handle it all while you stay at the villa and relax.
A nanny can be arranged for an average of $12 per hour. Guests should plan to add approximately $20 per day for food for their nanny.

Villa Conditions
- Bedrooms will be allocated dependent upon ‘Number of Guests’ at the time of Booking. Any unused Bedroom(s) may not be available to Guests.
- A obligatory Gratuity rate of 15% of the overall booking is due to be paid to the Staff before departure. Please plan to pay in Cash (US Dollars or the local currency).
- A 50% deposit may be required for bookings that include Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Eve.
- The Tryall Club requires all villa guests to become members during their stay via a Fee of US$160 (plus 15% service charge) per week for each guest 16 years and over, or US$32 (plus 15% service charge) per day per person for stays of less than 7 days. Payable Front Desk in the Great House when you register.

Sea Glass is THE BEST PLACE we have EVER stayed!
The Sea Glass villa at the Tryall Resort is quite simply the best place that my family and I have ever stayed. Period. This includes The Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and various Starwood properties and boutique hotels around the world.
First of all, there is a full-time STAFF OF 5 professionals that work seamlessly as a team to cover your every need: meals, snacks, room service, daily laundry, pool service--anything you could desire. They work predominantly behind-the-scenes, so you never feel their presence unless you think you might need something--and then poof someone is there! (We have only stayed in a few of the Tryall villas here, but the Sea Glass staff is definitely the most experienced we have encountered.) The villa and large surrounding grounds are meticulously kept, providing incredible views of the ocean, palm trees and beautiful Jamaican landscape.
The food. AMAZING! Your own private chef prepares all the meals with as little or as much direction as you may require. Definitely think about what you may or may not want beforehand, and communicate that with the house. We let the chef "do his thing" and were treated with some of the best multi-course home cooking we have ever had. Think fine dining in flip flops! Our kids have more limited diets, and their requests for mac and cheese, hot dogs, pancakes, fruits were all met with "No problem!" and we found our kids eating more than they ever do at home.
The accommodations are also beyond first class. Six large bedrooms with balconies, great views, air conditioning, large showers and bathrooms, plenty of outlets, and wi-fi. If you want some privacy, spending time in the bedroom is a wonderful option, but we recommend one of the various spacious sitting areas around the villa, large infinity hot tub or huge private pool. The indoor-outdoor set up at Sea Glass is one of the aspects that truly "steals the show." Covered areas with comfortable couches and tables, poolside chairs, with or without umbrellas, and an open but inside great room that evokes images of Ernest Hemingway writing and having a rum drink or two. If it rains, that's No Problem, too. Short storms come and go, but the kids loved the pools and covered areas during the rain almost as much as during the copious periods of warm sunshine. We didn't even consider turning the TV on, but there are plenty of flat screens throughout the villa, and a large game room with foosball, pool table, ping pong and other games.
In addition to all the great amenities and service at Sea Glass, the Tryall resort adds plenty of other amazing services: private beach with a restaurant and several bars, a full gym, tennis, spa, and a fantastic 18-hole golf course. We played 2 fast rounds of golf and loved every hole, and were back to the pool before lunch! I preferred to walk the course, but carts and caddies are available as well. I rented clubs and was pleasantly surprised to get mint condition Titleist AP2 irons and new Titleist woods. In addition we also set up massages right at Sea Glass, where they set up the tables on the upper level, over-looking the ocean in the cool, quiet sea breeze. Very tough to beat!!!
We had 3 generations of family all together, all enjoying the Sea Glass in slightly different but equal ways. Book reading, pool games, afternoon smoothies (with or without some additional rum...), naps, exercise, walks, beach time with sea kayaks, a giant water trampoline and evening chats by the fire pit are just a few of the activities that kept everyone happy, entertained, and content. I cannot recommend Sea Glass enough, and promise it will surpass your expectations of quality vacation time in a luxury villa in paradise.

This was our second visit to Sea Glass. We loved it so much last year that we came back! It was even better this year, just like coming home. Sheldon is amazing he anticipates your need before you ask. He made me smoothies everyday and in the afternoon we looked forward to his special “Miami Vice” frozen drink by the pool!! Demian is the best chef ever and his deserts are to die for!! Monica, Fabian, and the Cheryl round out the team and all provided excellent service and made our visit a memorable one. If you are looking for a villa with superior service, beautiful surroundings, 5 star dining, and an experience you will remember come to Sea Glass our home away from home!!
