Overview
Nestled on the outskirts of Snowdonia yet just a short walk from the village pub, Dyfi House is the sublime rural retreat you need to reset and unwind!
The home consists of two stunning detached, fully-equipped properties alongside one another, tucked in a magnificently rural area with simply superb countryside views - and even a private hot tub! In these wondrous kitchens you’ll find all the mod cons you could possibly need to rustle up a treat for the whole group, including slow cookers so you can head out for the day and come back to a delicious hot meal ready to go! There’s also of course cafetieres so you can enjoy a freshly-brewed coffee each morning as you gaze out over the Dyfi Valley. There’s a large dining room in each property, but for truly unforgettable meal times, gather the entire group around this enormous 16-person, oak dining table in the larger home, with magnificent views through the bay window, for mealtimes all together. There’s also a living room in each home, too, boasting cosy wood burners and big sofas, as well as a library for kids and adults alike, brimming with local maps. And finally, you’ll even find a play area on the landing, with children's toys to keep them entertained on cosy nights in.
Across the two homes you’ll find six double bedrooms, including four king-size beds and two doubles, all incredibly spacious, bright and airy, with gentle seaside tones throughout! Each offers a wall-mounted TV and perfect, picturesque window seats! And in the three accompanying en-suite bathrooms you’ll find locally made Welsh soap provided, too. Up on the top floor of each home there are attic spaces laid out as twin bedrooms, but these can be linked to make king-size beds upon request if that’s more suitable to your group! There are three en-suite bathrooms across the rooms, plus two family bathrooms, with a modern spa bath in one and freestanding bath in the other - promising a delightful soak when the feeling takes you!
And finally, the jewel in the crown of this stunning home is undoubtedly its location and the magical garden nestled within it. The hot tub, with room for six, is a clear standout, offering a truly unforgettable spot to relax, chat or enjoy a tipple, all with gorgeous views! Meanwhile there’s alfresco dining up on your beautiful, elevated, decking area, from where you can keep an eye on the youngsters playing in this wonderfully enclosed garden below. Fire up the luxury gas barbecue for a day of sunshine and delicious food in this most magnificent setting!

Welcome to Snowdonia, the wild, beautiful wonderland tucked away in northwest Wales! This place is a total jackpot for nature lovers, adventure junkies and anyone in desperate need of a serene escape. Covering a whopping 823 square miles, Snowdonia National Park is like a giant, nature-themed quilt with stunning landscapes stitched together and dotted with soaring mountain peaks, zen-inducing lakes and ancient forests. Oliver’s Travels properties sprinkled across this captivating landscape include charming cottages and characterful farmhouses that will make your heart sing and turn your weary body into a puddle of relaxation.
The pièce de résistance of Snowdonia is none other than Mount Snowdon itself, the heavyweight champ of Wales and England. Standing tall at 3,560 feet, this mountain boasts panoramic views that will make your jaw drop. Nature enthusiasts enjoy hikes from the leisurely Llanberis Path to the hardcore Crib Goch Ridge while thrill-seekers can zipwire until their hearts are content. If you are not feeling the leg workout, you can hop on the Snowdon Mountain Railway for a scenic ride that will have you reaching the summit in style. Bala Lake is a water sports haven with sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and leisurely boat trips on offer.
Betws-y-Coed, the "Gateway to Snowdonia," is a village straight out of a fairy tale surrounded by lush woodlands and waterfalls. It is the perfect launchpad for your Snowdonia adventures, complete with charming shops and pubs that practically beg you to pop in for a pint. For a touch of magic, Betws-y-Coed’s Fairy Glen is a secret fairy hideout with mystical gorges, bubbling cascades and rocks covered in fairy-approved moss. You can take a stroll, have a picnic and let the enchantment wash over you. History buffs should get ready to geek out in Conwy, a medieval town dominated by the epic Conwy Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site that makes you think of a Game of Thrones set. You will wander through cobbled streets, explore castle nooks and soak in marvellous views. Portmeirion, a village straight out of an Italian daydream, courtesy of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis offers quirky buildings, subtropical gardens and spectacular views of the Dwyryd Estuary.
Snowdonia is a jackpot of nature wonders, historical stunners and villages straight out of fairy tales. Whether you are chasing mountain highs, lakeside tranquility or village enchantment, Snowdonia is amazing!

Everyone loved it!
Wow, what an amazing house. It had so much space for everyone and the kids loved exploring it. Beautiful location. Very warm welcome and the welcome pack was also a lovely touch. The whole of our party loved it here. We will hopefully return in the future! Thank you for sharing this wonderful house with us.

Lovely house
Lovely house, really good as a hub for a family holiday. It felt a bit like Mary Poppin's bags, there was so much space - really lovely as it meant some of us could watch rugby, some could nap in front of the fire, others could use the hot tub and the kids had loads of places to play!
