  • Perfect house

    on 23/10/2023

The house and views was beautiful! It was the perfect house for my best friend’s hen do. All the rooms were lovely and the fact that there are so many bathrooms was great for all the girls! The hot tub was an added bonus, we even left a night out in Cheltenham early to go in the hot tub instead. Richard was really helpful and made checking in/out quick and easy

  • Perfect place

    on 04/09/2023

We had such a fab stay at Richards House for a hen do, such a stunning location with views to die for! Spacious lounge and sun room and plenty of outdoor seating, we had a lovely Al fresco dinner on the 1st night . All bedrooms were spacious and had a bathroom each which was great for a large bunch of girls! Hot tub also went down well and the gardens are beautiful. Richard was very responsive and friendly, thanks so much

  • Everyone was blown away with the accommodation

    on 08/08/2023

This stay was even better than expected. We had a group of 12 for a hen party and Richard was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout. Each bedroom had the luxury of a bathroom, the shared spaces were large and accommodating of all the guests being in the same space and Richard has thought of everything that could possibly be needed - hot tub towels, lots of kitchenware, outdoor cushions, to name a few. Richard was incredibly responsive and gave very clear instructions for every part of the stay, including useful information on how to get to the property - I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a comfortable house with exceptional amenities and views for a large group. Thank you, Richard, for a great stay - everyone was blown away with the accommodation and it certainly made for a special hen weekend!

    on 11/06/2023

Such a beautiful home and I’m so glad we found Painswick Hill House for our hen weekend for 11 of us girls. It’s a beautiful home with incredible views.
House was very clean with very comfortable beds and we were also welcomed with some very thoughtful gifts which was very appreciated as well as dishwasher tablets and milk etc which is always helpful for a short stay.
Each room had its own bathroom and every room was very spacious and Richard even catered for us all to have single beds if we wanted to.
I’ll miss my morning coffee with the amazing view over Painswick. Definitely recommend! Thank you!

The garden is well manicured, big and beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition as everyone in the family loved using it during the stay. Richard and his son were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this host and home for large groups of people! We will be back.

  • Wonderful stay

    on 08/08/2018

Thank you for a lovely house with a great view of Painswick. We really like going in the hot tub after breakfast and sometimes before bed. We also liked going to see the goat and feeding him the left over vegetables. We loved stroud for dinner with plenty of child friendly food and Go Ape around an hour away. That was really fun. We all loved using the Sky TV box.

  • Definitely a place to come back to.

    on 17/07/2018

Everyone had a wonderful time in your beautiful house. Thank you for the Prosecco welcome, which we enjoyed in the hot tub. It was delightful with lovely places to eat and drink and plenty of beautiful Cotswold walks. Amazing views and OMG sunset was stunning.
