Tucked in the sapphire-hued paradise of Krabi in Thailand, Baan Nai Faan is a glamorous four-bedroom holiday villa for eight. Boasting an easy access to a private beach, it’s a dream destination for water sport lovers and casual tourists. Enjoy a gamut of activities like island hopping, sea cave canoeing, jet skiing and snorkeling.
This eco-friendly resort feels like your own little hideout, boasting high sustainability and minimal waste production. Its many facilities include a sprawling swimming pool, paddle board and motorbike rental, tours and travel services and a boutique resort store. Work up a sweat in the well-stocked fitness room, followed by a rejuvenating massage in the spa center. Spend peaceful hours in the cosy library and savour the evening sun in the organic garden.
Inspired by traditional Thai architecture, the villa is built with mostly natural materials like wood and stone. Offering sweeping views of the Andaman Sea and Phi Phi islands, it features a private tropical garden and rustling forests nearby. The well-planned design allows plenty of natural ventilation throughout the property.
The large outdoor deck gives off a leafy feel, with direct access to a luxurious swimming pool. Spend lazy afternoons on one of the lounge chairs or enjoy a refreshing siesta on the canopied bed.
The living area is bright and roomy, with a tropical beach house vibe. Glossy stone floorings, graceful wooden beams and traditional artworks exude a sense of tranquility. Staying true to its theme of naturalism, the villa does not offer a TV. Comfy jute couches with bold red upholstery are surrounded by large folding doors and windows. These offer nearly 180-degree views of the outdoor garden and beach.
Make most of the spacious and open-plan kitchen, or dig into hearty meals at the indoor dining table.
There are four bedrooms in all. Three of them are on the lower level and contain king-size beds. The master bedroom is on the upper level, in a section disconnected from the rest of the house. It has a queen-size bed and an outdoor Balinese double shower. All the bedrooms have mosquito nets and boast sweeping views of the sea.

About the surrounding area of Baan Nai FaanNestled in the idyllic province of Krabi, famous for its scenic limestone cliffs, mangrove jungles and a collection of over 100 islands, the villa possesses an enviable location. The most convenient point of arrival is Krabi International Airport. From there, an official of the resort will escort you to the resort in a private long-tail boat (35 mins) or private speed boat (20 mins). The resort also organizes pickups from Phuket Airport, Ao Nang Beach and the neighboring islands of Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.
Accessible only by boat, Railay Beach is famous for its soft white sand, azure waters and sublime limestone structures. It’s a haven for rock-climbers with over 700 climbing locations and the annual Krabi Rock and Fire International Contest. Explore the Phranang Beach cave, which contains a sacred image of Buddha. Satiate your appetite in the many beachfront shacks and open-air restaurants spread across the beach.
Enroll for an island boat tour from Krabi Town or Ao Nang. Explore awe-inspiring caves, mangrove bushes and ancient island paintings with an expert local guide. Nature lovers should go on a hike to Thung Teao Forest Nature Park.
Home of the Crystal Lagoon, also known as Emerald Pool, this warm water lake is perfect for swimming against a backdrop of cascading waterfalls. Be on the lookout for the highly endangered, vividly colored Pitta Gurney bird.
A challenging, but ultimately rewarding climb of 1,237 steps will take you to the Footprints of Buddha in the Tiger Cave Temple. The name is derived from a legend which suggests that a ferocious tiger used to live in one of the many natural caves surrounding the temple. Get a glimpse into the lives of monks who used to meditate inside these caves. You will see rustic stone tools, pottery relics and mind-boggling pictures of dead bodies, which symbolize the Buddhist philosophy that all physical forms are transitory.
Situated 43 kms west of Krabi, Koh Phi Phi is a constellation of 6 beautiful islands. Discover rock paintings of Viking ships in Koh Phi Phi Leh. Amazing island
