An escape from the ordinary, Villa Chaweng sits among the tropical treetops, perched on the hill above a beautiful bay. Built as part of the Cape Fahn Hotel, you can choose how much privacy you desire, offering all the privacy of a secluded villa, with all the facilities of a luxury hotel. This elegant two-bedroom property boasts everything you need and more, the perfect getaway for a group of four guests.
As you arrive, the villa sits poised within a border of tropical trees, framing the terrace and adding vivid colours to the modern design. Stairs guide you down from the entrance to the pool terrace, where the shimmering pool surface tempts you to hop in. Surrounded by sun loungers and comfortable seating, you can live outdoors all day, enjoying the sounds of nature, the rustling of trees and the fresh sea breeze drifting in through the leaves. Steppingstones lead across the pool to a beautiful covered deck, offering an idyllic spot for evening cocktails; gazing out to the sea as the last of your worries slip away.
The property itself is split into two, with one villa accommodating the lounge and first double bedroom, whilst the second boasts a beautiful second bedroom. The lounge is spacious and bright, equipped with a large sofa and comfy chairs as well as a DVD player, cable TV and a complimentary mini bar so you can make yourself at home. With a separate kitchenette area as well, you can enjoy quick snacks and evening treats, heading to one of the hotel restaurants when you want a larger meal.
The villa’s two bedrooms are positioned at either end of the swimming pool, giving their guests some privacy from each other. Both rooms feature double beds, plenty of storage and beautiful en-suites; each an oasis within itself. You can enjoy long mornings in bed with a cup of coffee, sliding open your glass walls to allow the sounds of nature to reverberate within the room and the pools reflections to dance along the bedroom walls. The bathrooms adopt the same elegant styles, with waterfall showers and luxurious bathtubs perfect for a long soak.
With the hotels beach, swimming pools, spa, fitness suite and two delicious restaurants all located nearby, you can simply turn up and relax, enjoying every moment in this stunning setting.
What you should know…
- The remote location means you need to take a boat transfer from Koh Samui. The complimentary transfer operates daily between 07:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m, if you need to travel outside of these hours, please inform when you book
- With no safety fence around the pool, younger children may need supervision

To reach the villa you can fly direct from Bangkok to Koh Samui Airport from which it is only a short drive to the Cape Fahn Hospitality Lounge. There is also the option to take a one-hour boat trip from Surat Thani. With complimentary refreshments, wi-fi, newspapers and magazines at the lounge, you can await your three-minute crossing to the island. This brief transfer is complimentary and operates daily between 07:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
From the moment you arrive, the hotel staff will take care of everything, guiding you to the privacy of your villa, whilst also showing you the fantastic array of communal facilities on offer. The spa therapists specialise in authentic Thai Massage as well as offering an array of other treatments. There are also a range of yoga classes, Thai boxing, and dance sessions available at your request. The hotels three swimming pools include; the main salt-water pool, the children’s salt-water pool and an adult only plunge pool.
When it comes to food, your taste buds are sure to be well satisfied. For a private dining experience, you can enjoy floating breakfasts in your pool and romantic dinners on your terrace, as well as the option to dine on the seafront with your feet in the sand, perfect for a special occasion. The hotel has two top restaurants open to you; Long Dtai and Hue. The Manu at Long Dtai restaurant has been handcrafted by Chef David Thompson, specialising in authentic Southern-Thai seafood, emphasising marine conservation and sustainability. Hue is located close to the swimming pools, offering a more relaxed dining option.

The villa’s two bedrooms sit at either end of the pool, so kids and adults can both enjoy their own privacy; particularly popular if you travel with older children. Each room is furnished with a large king-size bed, plenty of storage and an elegant en-suite, leaving even little kids feeling like one of the adults as they snuggle down into the soft mattresses! With glass doors framing each room, it is easy to keep an eye on little ones and once open, they can come and go as they please, meandering between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The villa’s lounge and kitchenette are cosy and welcoming, with large sofas where kids can curl up and equipped with Wi-Fi, a DVD player and cable TV to keep them entertained.
Outside, the large 8-metre pool is sure to impress any younger guests, with plenty of room to play and splash about. Bordered by sun loungers and plenty of seating options, children will be happy spending all day outdoors.
The location itself couldn’t be better, giving families the privacy and security of a private villa, yet with all the luxuries of a hotel just a stone throw away. Of the hotel’s three swimming pools there is one specifically designed for kids, with a relaxed atmosphere for them to play and meet other children, whilst adults can enjoy the serene ambience at the other pools. There are cinema nights hosted by the pools which kids will love, just make sure you book some seats! Hue restaurant is located nearby the swimming pool, offering relaxed dining to suit family groups, with a range of international and Thai options to choose from.
