About the surrounding area of Villa CaceyVilla Cacey is set on Nes Phra-Ae Beach (Long Beach) - a pristine three-kilometre stretch of white sand fringed by palm trees on the Andaman Coast in Southern Thailand, in the province of Krabi - the sumptuous Koh Fanta island.
Koh Lanta is among a collection of over 50 islands and islets and is famous for its beautiful beaches, turquoise sea and tranquil atmosphere. Often called the ‘The Emerald of Andaman’, it is nestled between Phang Nga and Trang and offers the perfect holiday destination for those looking for a relaxing break in Thailand, known as being less crowded and developed than Phuket and the other hotspots.
With coral-fringed beaches, mangroves and rainforests, the island is a veritable haven for nature lovers. The Mu Koh Lanta National Park covers most of the southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai; the large nature preserve is a mix of jungles, hills and beaches. Tanod Cape, in the national park, in particular, is known for its unspoilt beauty.
Leaving the pampering confines of the resort is barely necessary! But when guests do decide to venture out, entertainment options range from elephant trekking to white water rafting, rock-climbing on the famous limestone karsts, scuba diving and snorkelling among the tropical fish and kayaking through the beautiful clear waters.
