About the surrounding area of Villa BanshiVilla Banshi is just a few moments by foot from one of Thailand’s finest white sand beaches on the luscious island of Koh Lanta in Thailand’s Krabi Province. Nes Phra-Ae Beach (Long Beach) is a pristine three-kilometre stretch of white sand fringed by palm trees overlooking the azure-blue Andaman Sea.
Koh Lanta is an island paradise known for its natural rainforest, mystical mangrove plantations and local fisherman’s villages, together with offering a green idyll. With coral-fringed beaches, mangroves and rainforests, the island is a veritable haven for nature lovers. Mu Koh Lanta National Park spans several islands, including the southern end of the largest island Ko Lanta Yai, while there are 52 islands in total across the bay; water sports and boat trips to explore the islands are a fine way to enjoy the crystal clear bay.
Koh Lanta is an ideal spot for relaxation, with proximity to stunning nature being its defining characteristic. The Mu Koh Lanta National Park covers most of the southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai; the large nature preserve is a mix of jungles, hills and beaches. Tanod Beach, in particular, is known for its unspoilt beauty.
