Overview
This gem of a villa enjoys a prime clifftop position in the beautiful area of Cala Morell, giving you absolutely stunning views over the Mediterranean from the spacious front terrace. Better yet, the owners have created the pool to highlight the outlook, designing it in infinity style so you can focus on the sea while you swim. Everything is topped off by a roomy sunbathing terrace and a covered dining patio with cushioned armchairs for gazing out to sea. There’s even a private path leading directly to the beach and a special little viewing corner complete with a cute seat to contemplate the dreamy views in total peace and quiet.
Light, airy and beautifully finished, Casa Sweet Waters serves up plenty of space, making it great for a large family or group. Inside, the layout is fairly unusual, with a split-living arrangement in the main house and separate annexe
The main house is arranged around a large gallery-style kitchen which overlooks a split spacious lounge and quite space set with lightwood and white-painted furnishings, which combine nicely with the whitewashed walls to create a light and airy atmosphere. Cushioned sofas in the lounge provide perfect spots for relaxing during those evenings in curled up watching a movie on the TV, whilst the galley-style kitchen features all the holiday necessities for preparing sumptuous homecooked feasts that you can enjoy alfresco whilst revelling in the breath-taking views. The attractive, split-level layout of the lounge continues as you step through the patio doors leading from either section onto the terraces around the large pool. Keeping these doors open will ensure a wonderful sea breeze radiates through the house on hot days, and also makes double access for the smooth delivery of food onto the terrace. Outdoor alfresco meals and barbecues will never taste as good as they do here. Neither will sunbathing, swimming or relaxing!
On the ground floor, you'll find three double bedrooms, one full bathroom, and 2 guest toilets. We should also mention the wood beamed ceilings in each bedroom that add a traditional touch, and air conditioning that will keep everything cool. As you head to the upper floor, you'll be greeted by two more double bedrooms, both with an en-suite.
The views alone make this an incredible holiday home for all ages. As for the location, the villa is a short drive from the popular beach resorts of Cala’n Blanes and Cala’n Forcat. Here you’ll find numerous restaurants, shops for stocking up on provisions and bars.
What you should know…
- Please be very careful with children of all ages around the infinity clifftop pool and also all around the terraces as there is no fence/wall
- The fantastic private path that runs down to the beach also involves crossing a road, so attention and care should be taken to supervise children – don’t forget your clifftop location
- Given the fabulous clifftop location, you will need a car to really make the most of your stay to explore the surrounding areas
- The fabulous clifftop location does mean there are neighbouring properties, also making the most of the sunning sea views
- Make sure you visit the beautiful town of Mahon to explore the stunning natural harbour and old fisherman’s houses

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa Sweet WatersLeisurely alfresco dinners by the waterfront and lazy days on the beach, that's the order of the day on the sunny coast of Menorca.
Menorquins are super proud of their island and have taken great actions to protect their environment. As a result, the island's rugged coastline still offers a huge number of beautiful sandy coves (calas) to uncover and explore. One of these calas is Cala Morell. A wonderful hotspot, Cala Morell is ideal for a revitalising sunshine holiday. It boasts an impressive position and is a popular spot for holidaymakers who fall in love with its small beach and rocky coastline – views from Cala Morell are pretty special. You’ll see lots of sailboats bobbing up and down in the waters which are very deep around the bay. This gives the cove a magnificent cobalt blue appearance. It’s also great for snorkelling, however families with young children should be extra careful.
All along the coastline there are numerous beautiful local coves and secluded beaches to enjoy such as Cala d’Algariens and Cala del Pilar, plus you are also within a 10 minute drive away from the popular holiday resorts of Cala’n Blanes and Cala’n Forcat . A popular hotspot for families and couples Cala'n Blanes highlights are undoubtedly the beach. Pick a spot on the sandy cove and simply let your cares slip away as you sunbathe and swim. Alternatively head to a beach café or splash across the waves on a jet-ski. Away from the beach, you'll find souvenir shops to browse around selling holiday essentials. Over in Cala'n Blanes' numerous tavernas offer Spanish specialities as well as British-style eateries to suit all tastes. As sun sets linger on in the restaurants or head into a music bar for a night of dancing.
When you fancy switching the scenery, head to the charming port of Cuidadella with its cobbled streets, plazas and squares. Great for slow wandering and people watching, as well as dining at one of its many restaurants and café bars. or explore the nearby Arta Caves, a complex of amazing stalactite- and stalagmite-filled caverns. On your wanders, make sure you buy some of its famous almond biscuits and ‘arbarcas’, the popular local leather sandals. Also, while you’re on the island, take a trip up Monte Torro to experience stunning views over the sea to Majorca.
For anyone who really loves the outdoors and is keen to explore and get those steps in, walk along a section of the Cami de Cavalls. This ancient bridle path encircles the island, so you’ll be able to enjoy some magnificent scenery. Once you’ve done this, there are many more signposted footpaths and cycle routes to try too.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesCasa Sweet Waters makes a fantastic choice for families travelling with children who are bound to enjoy splashing around in the private pool, whilst adults can relax on a sun lounger, still keeping an eye on them.
From the villa’s garden terrace, you can walk down the private pathway to a small beach, where you can swim in the sea, this picturesque exploration is always popular with kids. But, parents need to be careful as you also need to cross a road before reaching the beach, and also supervise younger children climbing on any of the rocks down by the cove; they can become slippery.
Families can cook and dine alfresco morning, noon and evening on the Casa’s terrace. Family picnics and barbecue will never taste as good; grilling fresh and local ingredients on the barbecue, maybe even giving kids a chance to help with the cooking, as well as making the most of the Menorcan sun.
Within the villa itself, the open living areas are perfect for kids. Comfy sofas in the lounge make a great pace to curl up, play on phones and watch TV, making the most of the Wi-Fi and keeping up to date with the friends and the world back home! With the main house bedrooms all downstairs, and a separate annexe housing the forth bedroom, sleeping options are flexible - older kids can even be given their own space and have some independence.
Menorca itself is a holiday hotspot for families. There are sheltered beaches and coves, interesting caves to explore, coastal paths to follow on bikes or by foot, horse riding, watersports, restaurants catering to all appetites and beautiful sunshine. The surrounding area around Casa Sweet Waters is ideal for those who want to get a bit more active, with invigorating coastal walks for the whole family to enjoy. For even more in the way of sun, sea and sand, Cala’n Blanes and Cala’n Forcat are a short drive away. These beach resorts are super popular with families.
One of the many highlights of Cala’n Blanes is its beach. Pick a spot on the sandy cove and let your cares slip away. Alternatively head to a beach café or splash across the waves on a jet-ski. Away from the beach, you'll find souvenir, plus a waterpark.
At Cala'n Forcat, the rocky coastline harbours three small sandy inlets as well as other enticing coves where you can sunbathe and snorkel. When you're not on the sands, there's a selection of beach cafés to refresh your energies. Older teenagers and adults can make the most of the adventure sports in the area, with flyboarding, paragliding, sea kayaking and jet skis.
And when you’re not lazing on the beach, enjoying more of the friendly resorts dotted all along the coastline, there’s plenty more, from exploring whitewashed villages and picturesque harbours to discovering the sleepy culture of Ciutadella and Mahon,
Boat trips in the local area can be booked and make a perfect day trip away from the villa. As well as taking in the stunning Menorcan coastline, kids can snorkel and explore the world beneath the water.
