As you approach the exterior of this property, you will be blown away by the tremendous nature of the far-reaching lawn that seems to span for miles. This is a perfect space for the grown-ups to absorb the blazing rays of the sun as the children run around to their heart’s content. This villa is also home to a considerable swimming pool, allowing guests to indulge in a refreshing dip at any point throughout their stay. Moreover, guests can also enjoy a wealth of attractive outdoor terraces. These are perfect for guests to use as they enjoy an indulgent glass of wine and a plethora of awe-inspiring views.
 
Travelling inside, this property continues to exude a homely sense of style and charisma, helping it to become a deeply tranquil and serene space for guests to enjoy. Finca Marc is a beautifully refurbished villa with a private pool and is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the historic old town of Pollensa, and 10 minutes from the beaches of Puerto Pollensa. It offers peace and privacy, a sunny south orientation, and enjoys fabulous views of the surrounding mountains.

The Pollensa Museum is one of the most popular landmarks in the region due to its wealth of contemporary art pieces, such as the acclaimed works of Atilio Boveri. However, this establishment was once a simple storage unit for a collection of ornate Gothic altarpieces. These items quickly gained a lot of excitement throughout the decades. They were even praised at the Summer Exhibition of Painting, an outstanding event that occurred during the 1960s. In 1975, the museum was finally opened to the public, making it a key asset to the European art scene. The Pollensa Museum is based just a stone’s throw away from the town centre and is open Monday-Friday from 10 am till 2 pm. This museum is also free to enter, making it a great option for those travelling on a budget.
 
If you are looking to enjoy some delicious meals during your time in this fantastic area, Q11 Restaurant is a real treat. This fine-dining Restaurant adheres to the interesting concept of Seasonal Gastronomy, which means that the chefs only use the freshest ingredients in their culinary creations. This means that guests can delve into an abundance of diverse menu options, such as an indulgent and expertly seasoned rack of lamb as well an authentic portion of patatas bravas. Guests also have the opportunity to sample a range of local wines, giving them a true taste of this spectacular region. Mare de Due dels Angles Parish Church is a deeply moving religious landmark that is based just a short walk away from the centre of Pollensa. This monument was first built in 1236 and underwent a large number of renovations throughout the years, especially when it was handed over to the Knight’s Templar in 1240. Guests can enter inside and observe an endearing collection of artefacts and fixtures, helping them to uncover the mysteries associated with the region’s past.

THE REGION

Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.

The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. This market spans 300 stalls, all of which present a wide range of artisan goods. As such, guests can purchase a selection of handmade bags, clothes, and jewellery that they can happily show off back home. An additional aspect of this market is the wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetable stalls that are available. Therefore, guests are free to purchase an array of unique ingredients to help them gain a first-hand perspective of the region’s food scene. Pollensa Market is located just a short distance away from the centre of the town and occurs every Sunday from 8 am to 1:30 pm.
 
If you wish to uncover the beautiful horticulture found throughout this area, a trip to Joan March Gardens is a must-do activity. These gardens were built to commend the hard work of the March family, a group of business specialists who helped this quaint region to see an intense economic boom. During your time at this exquisite landmark, you can observe a wide selection of rare olive trees and cypress trees. In turn, these gardens help to exemplify the rich biodiversity of the entirety of Pollensa. Joan March Gardens are just under 10 minutes away and are open 24 hours a day, making them an incredibly accessible attraction.
 
Formentor Lighthouse is a deeply iconic monument and can be found less than an hour away. This impeccable landmark was first built in the late 19th century and stands an astonishing 210 metres above sea level. Thus, it has maintained its purpose of guiding fishing boats away from the sharp rocks that sit at the base of the shores. This lighthouse has also provided a lot of inspiration to many prolific writers, such as Gerardo Diego and Blas de Otero. As a result, this indicates its legacy and impact throughout the local region.
