Dating back to the 14th century, this building sits an impressive 509 meters above sea level. Its well-preserved 18th-century exterior showcases its rich history and extensive legacy. Closos de Can Gaia is an exceptional archaeological site located just over 10 minutes away from the villa. This extensive structure dates back to the prehistoric era and was once a thriving town active between 2000 and 700 BC. Today, it consists of just five archaic houses, all resembling the shape of an upside-down boat. These houses are believed to have been constructed during the Bronze Age using dry stone. Visitors are welcome to explore this unique landmark at their own pace, gaining insights into how this ancient town once operated. Closos de Can Gaia is also designated as a Site of Cultural Interest, underscoring its significant impact on the entire area.
